I guess this would be similar to fabrics related to seasons: colors relating to seasons. Lighter vibrant for warmer weather darker deeper colors for the cooler weather
John McDuggle All I’m saying is when u match the colors to the seasons (brights in the summer/spring & darker cooler colors in fall/winter), u will never have to worry about that going out of style; it’s always going to work. That was the video’s main point, and that’s what I’m pertaining to. But to ur point, when done right, it works as well.
Love the video. Just want to add one thing. You said to dress for the occasion, there is also dress for the location. For example, I am in FL and flip flops are everyday, everywhere wear.
Thanks for all that you do for US stylish men’s continues blessings and success 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 just one question I’m 5”5 and I love to wear bow ties does bow ties have a Season or special settings??
Great video and some good ideas and pointers. Just wondered what you thoughts were on the Italian Pitti Uomo style of fashion? Break some rules and go full sprezzatura but I suppose it is were you live in the world, might not work in New York. Like you say dress for the event or where your going. Salute my friend and have a great day.
Can't argue with those prime rules, but in Melbourne Australia, a city the size of most of the largest cities in the United States the standard of shoes sold in major outlets has declined radically, even with major shoe stores like Florsheim, who for most of the last century, also offered a range of locally made shoes. The Florsheim shoes I am currently wearing were made in India. They are falling apart because the quality of the material used has been cut back and artificial leather is used in areas where it just wears out before the sole and heels show any signs of wear. Your recommendation to buy good shoes is not just a stylish guideline, it's the very best advice in your video. Phil.
Once again, great video bruh! I would just add when wearing a suit or blazer, with no tie and the dress shirt is open at the collar, your crew neck under t-shirt should never be seen.
Great tips, it's hard for me to not wear flip flops, given the fact I live in the Caribbean with typically warmer climate, but I'm working on it, lol. But I heard #14
Hi, as someone who really likes their clobber , I’ve picked up some great tips ( gonna retry the burgundy& olive chinos, my trucker fits! ) and some new words (!) having binge watched your channel during lockdown. Much appreciated, cheers and Sal-lute!
Great advice as always. Down in the South during the spring and summer is basically Flip Flop Nation but we can and do rock some stylish yet comfortable flip flops down here. You have grown tremendously not just by numbers but also having the pulse of your subscribers. Excellent marketing skills that looks effortless. Eventhough we know you put a lot of work and thought in all that you do. Thanks for making our day Jeff. Be Blessed
Great share Style O.G. One Suggestion. You may list the important points shared in the video in the description below to make your videos more useful for review later.
Random question for you Jeff...do you think Ink Blue would be an okay color to wear during the hotter seasons? It looks like Navy Blue only a bit darker. Wish I could wear my white short sleeve Henley during the warmer times when out doing errands in the future but it is see through so don't think I should risk it. Thanks!
StyleOG I have looked EVERYWHERE for a similar color jacket with the blue stripes and come up empty. Please share where you got that jacket. Thanks for all you do!!!
Do you think blue dress shoes would go ok with a black belt or does one have to buy a blue belt? That is if you have one pair of blue shoes in your collection seems bit of a waste buying one belt for one pair of shoes.
Speaking of grooming, this COVID-19 lockdown got my barber out of business and I just got myself a pair of clippers. Yes, my first self haircut coming up...it probably will be brutal. So Jeff, you gotta do a show on how we fellas can do this....any ideas on techniques and clipper brands?
Hey Jeff, I thought 3 button suits were out of style, no matter hw you button them. I always liked the 3 button but thought they were out at least for now.
@terrydrums. I have the same problem. With a large chest and a slim waist, most shirts are baggy on me, but with very small wrists I have your problem with the sleeves. My dear late Mother used to put pleats in the back of the shirt so that it didn't billow over my trousers and she would move the cuff button over by an inch. The sleeves still billow, but with snug cuffs the shirt cannot disappear up inside the suit jacket. She also allowed enough space on the button on the left cuff so that I could slip a slim watch underneath. But you don't have that problem with shirts worn with cufflinks, which is my preferred solution, because the extra bulk just wedges them in place. So simply move the button. Phil.

I guess I won't be wearing that pastel pink suit to a job interview. On the real, thanks for the tips.
Haha!
I'm always losing the battle of the sleeve length. My shirt sleeves love to retreat back to my elbows like a frightened turtle.
