OMG! That was absolutely beautiful. Talk about touching your soul.....if no one can feel that then they're not really alive!. Thank you so much for doing this reaction. ❤❤❤
I'm glad you enjoyed my request. 🙂Mongolian throat singing creates some very special sounds. Some great songs by The HU you can check out are "Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order - The Hu Music Video", "Wolf Totem" and their collaboration with Lzzy Hale form the rock band Halestorm in "Song of Women". LP's unique voice was perfect for this beautiful song. She's one of my favorite singers. Her most famous song is "Lost On You" (one of the live versions has more than one billion views on YT). Some of my favorites of hers are ""Forever For Now" (Live In Sun King Studio 92), "Dreamer" and "When We're High". She also did an amazing cover of Beyoncé's "Halo". I saw LP live about 2 weeks ago.
The tall, two stringed instrument is called the horsehead fiddle. It is named for the decorative cap. The instrument has a long history and interesting beginning. The strings are made from clusters of horse hair. It is fascinating what they can do with just the two strings. I have heard them sound like a falcon, a horse whinny, and one man go up against a french violinist, and blow him away. (Even though neither instrument is a woodwind. 🤭) Yes, primal is an accurate word. The Hu members pride themselves in using ancient instruments of their homeland. Several of their songs are updated versions of ancient folk songs. If you truly want to know more about them, check out their YT channel Hu's cooking. During the pandemic, they were locked down for a significant time in Australia. They filled some of that time with cooking videos of foods from Mongolia. They are a fun bunch. 💝
The video is also on YT, but without English subs: ruclips.net/video/fWzji_s3qBE/видео.html You can link to the original, but I thought it would be good to know what they are singing. So I added the English lyrics.
@3:33 when LP’s vocals simply melds into the morin khuur, sublime. Try LP’s “Lost on you” (live), you’ll know you’ve got the right one when you see the 1,358,560,000 views it has already.

Something about their music actually reminds me of "The Who!" (Not the Doctor!) The band. Wow, talk about a vibe!
LP is phenomenal, i hope you check them out and do some reactions.
