Post Partum depression is soooo horrible!! That made me so sad not only for Yoatzi but also for all the mothers going through it and dont have a support system. So glad she is still here.
Yoatzi is such an amazing and beautiful person. It breaks my heart hearing her go through such dark times, she seems to be such a beautiful and kind soul. I’m so glad she has such a supportive family and Alex ❤❤❤
This podcast really touched me.😢 I've been going through depression, anxiety, ptsd since 2023, and hearing everything you two talked about really helped me in feeling hopeful that there's a light at the end of the tunnel. I could relate to Yoatzi about the thoughts you'd get when being depressed and it made me realize that I'm not alone and that things WILL get better. Thank you guys❤️
As someone who didn’t have to struggle with this but had parents and Friends who did just know y’all are strong asf and may yall all be blessed with many opportunities 🫶🏽🫶🏽🥹
Let’s move away from using the term “illegal.” 🙂 instead use the term “undocumented” as in we don’t have the proper “documentation.” People can’t be illegal, only actions can. Aside from that, great episode! So happy to see the platform you have both built :)
I hope both sides of your pillow are cold, I hope every time you brush your teeth, eat, drink, nothing gets on your shirt. I hope you will be treated with kindness for the rest of your life, Urbreez living a happy life with family and friends in 4K, I love you, you are amazing, thank you.
She is so humble and I love that she speaks well about her family and holds onto the positive memories. I agree that she is very well spoken. Some people have so much filler words but she does not hesitate to speak about her life. Estas bien smart friend keep up the good work
I can relate to yatzi and Alan with their undocumented struggles, the anger and jealousy I felt for those who had papers and weren’t doing anything with their lives, who took for granted all the benefits they have. Today, I still work so hard to keep myself in a safe environment where I won’t risk my status, I still have that fear to traveling. 😞 One day it will be better ❤ keep dreaming and fitting 💪🏻
I’ve never cried so much at a single podcast episode. Love Yoatzi and i’m so glad she chose to talk about Daca and bringing attention to documented people and reminding them to truly appreciate all of the privilege and opportunities they have.
I feel like Alan is the best podcaster he really listens and asks good questions and focuses on the invitados . I also like La plática but I notice that they like too butt in and talk about themselves alot and interupt .!
I’m a daca recipient and you DONT need a lawyer to send your paper work you can go to uscis and pay $20 to get all your record sent. If nothing has changed you can simply download the 2 documents you need copy paste and send it to the same office on your file or complete it online now , I’ve been sending the paper work myself since daca started more than 10 years been doing this with no issues
i love the podcast it feels so much like a 2000s hispanic tralk show! so much nostalgia!! definitely keep going the route of making it similar to a talk show its so great especially with the musical guests! its amazing i definitely enjoyed.
I love how you guys talked about your experience with DACA. I was shocked when you brought it up, and it just made me so happy hearing you’re story’s and especially being able to relate, because it’s not something that’s usually talked about. I’m glad you both got the opportunity 🫶🏼✨
thank you Yoatzi for opening up about your PPD it def made me feel better that I am not the only one that has gone through that and I am afraid of going through it again with my second baby!! we need more people like you to open up about our dark thoughts and emotions taking over us...
I’ve had a hard time watching the pretty not smart podcast because of they way they talk . And after today , I realized wow Yoatzi is very well spoken , she has a nice voice and is so smart . Wish she would talk normal in her own cast
I agree…they talk like kids with weird / ackward laughs that are so fake every minute. I wish they could talk like this! I don’t watch anymore because it’s so hard to watch.
Yeessss that’s exactly how I felt when my cousins would drop out of high school and they had papers and I’m over here worried if I’m even gonna be able to continue on to college but I had to go straight to finding a job that didn’t need papers so I waitressed for 5 years until I was able to get DACA and now I am working in a big Corporation

Lately I skip on his podcast because for some reason they are so low in my car and phone and when I play it on the tv as well I have to put it so loud then a freaking ad comes on and it’s so loud and wakes up my babies 😫😂

I wish born here. My sister wasn’t and we didn’t really care for shit but it’s not because of the status it’s cuz my dad was SOOO negative. He never encouraged us, always brought us down when we wanted to do try something new. so when you said your dad has always been so positive. That shit brought me to tears. Parents make a big difference.
omg as an immigrant i also too get sort of frustrated with ppl my age who do have papers like they really don’t know they are taking it for granted and i also wasnt able to get into the daca program bc they closed it when i submitted my application😢
When Alan brought up his bfs cousin not having daca cause it was too late, my heart broke and I couldn’t relate more. The same happened to me. But thank God my state made it a law recently that undocumented people like us can go to college and have any career job without a problem!🙏🏼
I love Yoatzi, her positive vibes and her hustle especially for her kids. She's an amazing mom! I personally believe that regardless if your doing good or bad in life people will always be hating and have some negative shit to say. They are unhappy, in the end it's a THEM PROBLEM! Lol😂 Keep pushing queen and I love your lil family! ♥️
Bring in Louie!!!! But yoatzi I have so much respect for you after this. I wasn't a follower even though I knew about you but you gained a follower today. Your such an inspiration! Keep going girl strong
My heart feels like crying, it’s so beautiful to hear the people who I’ve admired for years be able to talk about something so sensitive that not many people talk about. I never thought a podcast could make me cry,I never imagined being able to relate to someone about being an undocumented citizen. Love you guys ❤️
I don’t think yoatzi and Louie get the credit they deserve. Such a great example of family and never forgetting your parents.
You should bring in Emmanuel, Jenny’s husband! He recently did a vlog with Manny and was talking about his family and would love to hear more.
You know what yeah this would be so interesting to hear his POV of everything and his story
Yesss
Agree!😊
Never had agreed so much on a comment like THIS ONE! 😊😊
omg yes, this one would be very interesting!!!
Post Partum depression is soooo horrible!! That made me so sad not only for Yoatzi but also for all the mothers going through it and dont have a support system. So glad she is still here.
I admire yoatzi for never talking bad on Travis’s dad despite all the hurt he put her through. Speaks very highly of her.
This blue is her color! She looks so pretty!
She’s a great mom tbh and I’m glad she has such a huge support system including Alex, he’s a great dad to both kids ❤
Soo true I love how he says “our kids” “my kids” it’s too cute
Yoatzi is such an amazing and beautiful person. It breaks my heart hearing her go through such dark times, she seems to be such a beautiful and kind soul. I’m so glad she has such a supportive family and Alex ❤❤❤
