Don't ever build this new item first on Ahri, It's horrible. Ahri isn't AP.
Could you please try a different buildpath? There are like 10 new itens, you could test the other itens and mash them with some AP mage burst, like building the New Spear Item, the Malignance, and the new Tank item on Ahri. The movespeed itens are pretty OP and must-not-forget on Ahri too. I'm an Ahri main.

Ahri is not an AP champion, she's a hybrid. Never build AP first on Ahri, never.
