I am currently in Seoul and were finally able to 'live the dream' and shop in an offline Olive Young store! What an experience, especially the biggest stores with multiple floors. The options and variety is insane. My only disappointment is that they are the only skincare store I have shopped in here that doesn't give you free samples. Tiny thing, but all things matter. Beyond that, definitely a fantastic store and was amazing to be able to browse the shelves live isntead of digitally like I'm used to :)
My sister sent me videos when she was at Olive Young (I think the big one at Myeongdong Station?) and it was so PACKED and chaotic in there, wow. My mum went to a smaller one and apparently the shop assistants were so sweet helping her find things. I'm surprised to hear you don't get samples in-store!
I have a love/hate relationship with Oliveyoung. I love their selection of products but the prices are SOOO inflated!!! Also, I love in the EU and I get hit with taxes (AND management fees from the carrier) every single time😔😔😔😔
The taxes are so exasperating, but of course we have that with every store. EU custom regulations are exhausting, especially German custom has gotten me into so many annoying situations! I talk about the inflated prices in the video as well, it is my one gripe with OY, and it wasn't like that in the beginning. All the constant sales events just mean the regular prices have been hiked up ridiculously just as with Yesstyle. Ugh.
Yes please. Make it a series for all the different k beauty stores.

Olive Young Canada usually ships around 2 weeks. Not bad!

Olive Young whenever I've looked up products, are more expensive than others.
As I say in the video, they have great value packs and often good deals during sales but yes, prices in general are high sadly.
