Yes!! I use Obsidian. My best reason to use it instead of Roam is that its future proof since the text files can be transferred easily in markdown, is super customizable in themes and plug-ins, open-sourced with multiple plugins and workflows has a better graph view compared to Roam. There is a learning curve to set your stuff up, but I use it as a landing page for work, notes, calendars, and project management. The community is super supportive and has endless RUclips channels and forums.
I have a FlexiSpot E7 desk at the start of 2023 I was standing 20% of the time and sitting 80% for an 8 hour day. By the end of the year, I was 80% standing and 20% sitting.

Blind people can't read black text on white background.
We require white text on black background, preferably blowing white text.
Which is why I can't write this comment, but if I look at a piece of paper with writing all over it, it looks like a blank piece of paper to me.
One thing I've learned from going blind, is that tech don't give a rat's a55 about blind people. And a lot of stuff we find just mildly annoying with perfect vision, becomes a total design fail once your vision is compromised greatly.
what happened to your eye sight.
@@perseusvlasov367 Got hit by some carb cleaner spray back which are solvents. Need Lasik to replace the lenses. Take some binoculars dial them way out of focus and that's how I see the world, but brighter. Everything blurs into everything else.
I can read white words on a black background on a compter screen,b ut pictures are a blur. Printed text on a piece of paper looks like a blank piece of paper. If I hold out my hand I can't see my individual fingers unless they are against a high contrasty background. If I put somethind down in the wrong place I will enver find it again. I can't see any products oin a grocerys tore and have to follow someone around. IT sucks.
But I can fly hardcore aerobatics to a 42" TV screen if I sit up real close. If It's a high contrasty level... now there is only one level left I can fly.

- major in econ minor in poli sci.
- intern with company on research papers revolving around international affairs
- be hugely involved in the buisness programs at my school
- learn a foreign language, im learning my parent's native one rn:)
any other advice?
I am really interested in looking at software like Roam Research also, but am total overwhelmed by it. I am a (mature in age) Undergraduate Economics student (part time in the UK via The Open University), and am desperate to find a system of making better notes as it is something I am struggling with, so I would be fascinated to hear about your progress with it as you go. Love the channel by the way, keep up the great work.
