hey everyone! i'm finally back and here with a new video! i hope you enjoy! don't forget to subscribe + like + comment + share! i love you all so much ♡
Thanks so much for actually using the led light that comes with the kit! I've been looking at polygel nail kits on RUclips and people always use a different led light! ~ ♥️
WHOLE PROCESS BULLET POINTS: (for fellow comment surfers) - Set up slip solution and pick dual forms - Clip + file nails - Cuticle prep - Buff nails - Wipe with alcohol - Apply nail dehydrator - Apply nail primer + dry 15 seconds - Apply UV base coat + UV lamp cure 30 seconds - Put polygel in the plastic dual form and spread out (pick the forms out beforehand make sure they fit right) - Place form onto your nail and GENTLY squeeze on, you don’t want it oozing out (sometimes they give you clips to keep them in place also) - UV lamp cure 60 seconds on BOTH SIDES of the nail - Pop off plastic form + file - Wipe off with alcohol, get that residue off! - optional decorating! - not in the vid but I see lots of people apply their favorite clear top coat and it always looks stunning! Thanks for putting out this video !! It’s a great tutorial and the only one I’ve found for this specific brand and I just bought their sample kit so I’m really nervous!
@@gritsnwavy3059Honestly, after a day I took them off because the second coat didnt look right, it looked very chunky. But to answer ur question I had a hard time to get the nails right for my fingers and putting the gel on, it was kinda easy the 2 time I did it tbh, You just need alot of patience and time but the kit I had was rlly good and came with different colors and came with glitter and stuff I haven't gotten a chance to use the glittery stuff yet.
Thanks so much this is the best tutorial that is right to the point not too much talking and shows exactly how to do it, I tried this and it turned really nice thx for the tutorial
Oh my gosh I am so glad that I found this tutorial, apparently I was going polygel wrong the whole time no wonder it never looked good! Now I know for sure what I am doing this weekend 😃
Thank you for this! I got this polygel kit for Christmas and I missed a step or two but my nails turned out ok. Kept wondering why my nails were so sticky now I know why lol. Gotta wipe them off with alcohol. It doesn't say that in the directions, even with the top coat you still have to wipe them off or you are gonna have stuff sticking to them. Great tutorial!! I know my nails will look better if I follow what you did! Thanks!
Can you explain at what stages do you need to wipe them to prevent the stickiness? And does the alcohol come with the pack? Worried to try this for the first time and don’t want to mis a step 😰
This was your first time? Wow you did an amazing job they look super pretty I definitely want to try the kit I hope I have luck and my nails look as good as yours
I stumbled across your channel trying to find tips & tricks with polygel nails. Hoping I could level up as a newbie lol, I just started my channel with nail tutorials as well thanks for sharing it helps! :)
Great video!! I think you did a great job explaining everything and I think I am going to try these out! I did subscribe in case I need your help!! Lol
Steps: Take a plastic bag and put a paper towel in it. Add some acetone and olive oil in the bag. Then, fill a bowel with hot water. Put your finger tips in the plastic bag.Put the bag in the bowel of hot water.Soak for about 10mins.After,scrape off the poly gel!Thats it!
Beautiful!! thanks for doing this step by step for I'm about to buy and try a poly gel kit for the first time and will definitely come back to your video to follow! 😄 👍from me and new friend here - drop by and say hello, your support would mean a lot!🤗
@@kmclovin7048 I’m hoping to get two weeks out of this set cause I really took my time and made sure they were all A good thickness!!! I lied bc I did do Them before but it was a half assed attempt so most fell off after a week - some were on for THREEE weeks tho!!! So it all depends on how well you sculpt them
I followed everything and I did well I think I did what I was supposed to do and if it kept on not working and 60 seconds was a little bit too hot but it still didn’t work and it did harden but it didn’t it was like the polly gel was still not working and it kept on going in my nail and my nails hurting right now and also it damaged my natural nail and it hurts really bad
oh no i'm so sorry this happened :( the cause of the heat in the lamp usually occurs when the polygel is too thick, if that happens take your hand out and tap it a few times and re-insert it into the lamp. as for the polygel not curing, i think your lamp may not be strong enough. are you using the lamp provided with the kit in the video? (it needs to be at least 48 watts) if your nail is really damaged remove the polygel and notify a healthcare professional if need be. i hope this helps!
hi! first i applied a thin layer of the polygel to create the structure of the nail. then i applied the glitter on top of the cured gel. after the glitter i applied a final layer of polygel on top to encapuslate the glitter (seal in) into the nail. i hope this helps!
Hey new sub here ❤❤When you went to do your cuticle and encapsulate did you use white polygel for the nails that were white and clear for the ones that were clear? I've been having a hard time with my cuticles and I want to try what you've done. Also, have you made a video on using nail forms with polygel?
So I’ve done my lily gel like the instructions said and how you did them but they are always way to soft and just bend off and don’t last more than 2 days
hi! thanks for watching! if done correctly, with proper preparation of the nail bed and application of product, these nails should easily last around 3-4 weeks! When I do my nails I easily get 3-4 weeks of wearing time before one falls off, and about 4-5 weeks when most have fallen off. hope that helps! - if you have any more questions please let me know!

That’s crazy I brought this and it only came with a clear poly gel, double side spatula and brush,,base coat, top coat, blooming thing in nail polish bottle,1 file, case of same color gems, butterflies, pink shimmer, the nail form thing and the slip solution.
How do you get the poly gel to stay? When I want to fix the underside the nail lifts up and I push it back down but it won’t stay so I can’t do the bottom without holding it still which is awkward

hi! to use the uv lamp check to see how long it will take to cure the product you are using on your nails in the lamp first. after that, insert your hand into the uv lamp (make sure it is plugged in) the lamp in the video has a sensor, however if that doesn't work you can just turn in on. then press the button on the top of the lamp (next to the on/off buttons) you can choose from 30 - 60s. when you click the button the lamp should turn on and in this case, it will be a blue light. when the light turns off, you can take your hand out and it will be cured! i hope this helps, let me know if you have anymore questions!
I’m sorry but I had to point out the fact that you stated that it’s your first time doing this poly gel set, however, you were in two different outfits at least that I saw. Wtf?
