Does everyone in the media forget Bill let NFL Films follow him and the team around for the entire 2009 season? I know it's not Hard Knocks, but we've all been able to peak behind the curtain before.
IMO, it was better than Hard Knocks, because it followed the whole season and you got to see how the gameplanned and went about their work. Not just singing from rookies and storylines about players who aren't even gonna make the team . (to be clear, I still like Hard Knocks)
Bill Belichick would be a coach that after winning 3 Superbowls in a row, reporters ask what is next for the Patriots and how do you feel? He would reply, "we can do better, they get a day off and we will see how we do next year, honestly I expected more...onto Cincinnati."
I personally only grew as a player through my hard coaches. Coaches are there to make you better. In order to do that they have to put you in some stressful situations. There is something about this experience that I know molded me today

Hard Knocks sold out & became Just an nfl propaganda commercial not long after the Jets year that was a mess (cromartie not knowing his kids names). The nfl cleaned that show up quick & there hasn’t been a memorable, candid moment on there in a decade.

Hard coaching isn’t for everyone. It’s hard to take as an employee and it’s hard for the boss. Being ruthless with people you may like takes a toll.
