- Verna Pilipinas held a private meet on 5/15/2022 for all the OG members and to welcome the new members of the Verna Pilipinas Group.
We had a great (and biggest) turnout and it was still successful considering the bad weather. We would like to thank everyone that made the trip despite the rain and looking forward to seeing and meeting old and new members at the next meet!

we have an Accent 2007 model since and until now despite the mechanical issues surfuced just 2 yrs ago (maybe of due to old age), it still is surpisingly drives well
2015 Hyundai accent is my first car, i got it a few weeks ago, loving it so far
Nice, congratulations on your first car! It’s definitely a fun car, mines a 2012 and it hasn’t given me any problems so far so I try to take care of it as much as I can 😎

@@Coeshen it's a bit tricky getting parts for these cars since there is not yet a huge market for aftermarket parts for Hyundai Accents....most of the stuff I had added on my ride were custom made (fiberglass)
There may be some parts out in Puerto Rico that you can probably buy (perhaps closer to your side 😅)
Another thing is you can just keep it clean and simple, drop the height, get some dope rims and rock that clean look as you see some of these guys do ... Sometimes less is more 💯

Quite the KDM lineup you had there....haha we are still trying to bring KDM to the mainstream car scene out here, it's not the easiest task being the underdogs (saturated by JDM's out here) but it just makes it more unique and rare to have the builds we have since they are not everywhere and not a lot of common cars alike are being seen at meets haha

Would typically recommend 16s or 17s for your rims..16s if you prefer more comfort or a meatier tire setup..and 17s if okay lang sayo tiis pogi since medyo matagtag na sya

There's a few of them out here...just not that many folks have them modified yet but I'll try to capture some next time

Anu po problema s accent hb sa bahay, ung temp guage lang gumagana ung Iba patay na sa dashboard nya
First check for any blown fuses, pero mas recommend pa check nyo po sa trusted automotive electrician para ma pinpoint and maayos ganyang type of issue

That depends on what type of build you are going for (Thai, Euro, Racing, VIP, PHDM, etc...) When picking out a set of wheels, just make sure that the specs are ideal for our cars.

Can you put 18 rims on it?
We probably could although its hard to find a set of 18 inch 4 lug set of rims....Our roads isn't exactly the best place to have huge rims on low profile tires..
I've also seen conversion (to 5 lug) videos on RUclips to fit 18s but have not found a video on the process yet.

Where do you guys buy the body kits of your accent sedan’s? I’m from Puerto Rico, and it is very hard to find them 😨
They are all custom made (Lips, side skirts, ducktail spoilers) exclusively for Verna Pilipinas members. They have other body kits available as well from other merchants but they are too outdated and "ricey" IMO. Shout out to Puerto Rico, I know ya'll got some dope Accent's out there too🔥. We just holdin' it down for South East Asia 💯

@@Sacova87 They are only available and outsourced locally here in the Philippines. Never actually tried looking/buying any kits online other than accessories for the car.

@@Sacova87 That's too bad...we had some people inquire about the body kits we have available here in the Philippines as well....but unfortunately, shipping it out to either the US or PR is not very cost effective for us and it's not an easy task getting the parts out there either 😅

In the state's mama died and gave me her account. 💔 want to do turbo it's a na car auto 🚗
We got a turbo variant of the Accent CRDI (1.6 Turbo) but they only came on Diesel. As for the Gas variant of these cars (1.4) I have not yet seen anybody put a turbo kit on theirs. Full exhaust, headers, intake, and a tune is the most I've seen they can do for the Gas variants of these type of cars.
