I just ordered my self one from eBay from the same seller you did and i can’t wait for it to get here, i really wanted to get into gas rc for awhile but they are expensive and really big so the octane is perfect. I have been running mainly nitro for years and wanted to try something new. Tbh the eBay seller has the octanes listed at a decent price because of how rare they are.
Great vid, cool truck, it's running nice! There is only 2 savages I don't have one is this gaser and the secound is limited edition s-25 3spd. I might grab one of these because I want it 😆.
@HamdanShuwaihi Sorry to hear that! It's hard to diagnose the problem here because it could be one or multiple things. Fortunately, the seller is very helpful with getting you running. If you reach out to him, I'm sure he'll walk you any trouble you're having. He definitely helped me. He's also on Facebook and RUclips. Yes sir, the octane and savage xl both come with stock 3sp transmissions. You used to be able to just by the 3spd transmission conversion kit back in the hpi glory days. I hope they re-release that as an option down the line.

@@Dre357 it does not want to stay running at all! It also came with an aftermarket CDI box which might be the main problem. It’s all good though, it’s all apart of the hobby😂

Your breaking up at high rpm, you might want to just BARELY richen the mixture on the high speed needle, and I mean BY A HAIR. Its very sensitive.
