Thanks Hannah. I'm just getting started on the fiddle, and I really appreciate how you repeat each phrase multiple times at slow speed. It really allows me to learn each part without having to stop the film hundreds of times. Very helpful. Thanks again.
Happy to help, Richard! I'll keep the multiple repeats in mind for future tutorials as well. Keep me posted on any questions you have as you progress in your fiddling, and enjoy the process!
Wow! Hannah, fantastic! Excellent tutorial. I will be coming back to this video many, many times. It's all the ornamentation...rolls, half-rolls, double-stops, little slides and how to move the bow that is so hard to grasp. I have learnt so much in watching this that I could never get from other videos. Or, at least, I'd have to watch many videos to get all this knowledge. Obviously you are a natural in front of the camera and the style, pace, explanation, moving exactly from one part to the next, is all perfect and flows just as us apprentice fiddlers need. Very, very well done and thank you so much!
