I have a sister and brother in-law who have been living down there since 2001 and I visit every spring and summer and being out on a boat on the lake is a amazing feeling I'm goin down there this coming Saturday and Sunday and I'm excited for it it's just such a chill relax and laid back environment especially by the lake in camdenton cause it's far enough from Osage which has a lot of stuff goin on but close enough to the the stores

I don't even recognize the high school. It doesn't look prettier, that's for sure. Where did all the trees go??? ☹ My Dad was born in the water tower at Haha Tonka and my grandparents worked at the castle. My Great grandfather, Oscar Jones, was overseer for the castle. My hubby and I were married at the overlook. It's a very special place for my family. I find myself so homesick these days but I don't ever want to be that cold again 😄
