I might be in the (extremely small) minority for this, but I was genuinely disappointed with this anime. Most of the characters are unlikable, there's a little too much drama and I didn't even like the setting (A "school café" in the middle of this urban area?)
According to the theme, the customers are visitors to the school. The cafe itself is the school’s parlour for receiving guests, and the staff are students representing the school.
