This is such a canon reaction. I love that for once a reaction video actually portrayed Chuuya's trust in Dazai and their bond. He didn't just think of it as a betrayal but realised that as always Dazai has a plan. That's probably how it would go in canon as well, not him being angry or panicking about his 'death' as most reaction vids portray

tbh, i love that chuuya smiled when dazai said corruption was beautiful at 5:21 . it’s like chuuya thinks that corruption is nothing but a monstrous and violently dirty part of his ability and im pretty sure he hates acting like that so hearing someone call it beautiful instead of calling him a monster or inhuman is really comforting to hear. i would have the same reaction if i were him, honestly.

In all English references to his name (within and outside of bsd) he is known as Osamu Dazai. I will admit I used to think his first name was Dazai, so I completely understand the confusion, but that isn't the case. It also (in my opinion) makes sense that he would have most people refer to him using his last name, as it's less personal. There was an argument mentioned so I hope I'm not feeding into that ;_; but just wanted to give my two cents on the matter.
