Your berries are beautiful ! All your hard work is paying off for a wonderful hard working farm family , Iam glad for you guys . I hope the rest of the growing season is as successful as your strawberry harvest !
The berries look great. The little cultivator tool is called a garden weasel. On our vegetable farm we always planted the dill seed with an earthway push seeder. Much quicker and easier and more uniform than the way you do it, but I'm not sure if it would work as well in your gravelly soil. You might want to give it a try though. I can't remember if there was a special plate for dill seed or if we used the carrot seed plate.
Hi Logan, I live in central IL. I can't believe people aren't lined up there in PA for pick your own strawberries at your place. We have to get up at 6 a.m. just to have a place in line here. Your berries look amazing I have to say. What a great year for them.😊👍👍
Yeah! I am wondering this too! Are you advertising for customers to come pick their own berries, especially if they might get a discount on each quart they pick. Or are people just getting too lazy to do that too?! Hmmm… Maybe they need to hire some temporary help to harvest strawberries.
Hi there. At one strawberry field where I picked my own fruit, there were different parking areas, so the customer didn't have too far to walk, plus you can close one car park off and make them pick in another area. I also was given a row to pick from. Another field, you were given a flag to place where you stopped picking or were instructed to go to row C, for instance, and pick from the flag. Everyone came back to the shed for weigh in. Elaine 🌱
The part of Canada I live in doesn't have ripe strawberry for awhile yet so I bought so in the grocery store yesterday they looked great but made me wish I lived near you.
Great so many berries to bad no freeze dry machine, that equals money there and shelf life is great. If you sell them all then no machine needed. Thanks for your video
Believe it or not they are bought / sold for florist work byMayesh..they even have a tutorial on a tall whimsical floral arrangement with beautiful curly garlic scapes. So pretty❤
I just weeded out my corn two nights ago it looks so good,I started them in plug flats under lights to see how it would go,my germination rate is 100% and it’s taller than the farmers corn. I staggered with 2 weeks between to keep it coming for a minute. My dog Pickles wanted me to ask if Daisy has considered pursuing a career in modeling? He says she looks like she’s at a photo shoot surrounded by all of those berries😊
You could put a bigger basket down and pick with both hands. That is the way we pick when we have so many. It is so much faster. Those are beautiful berries.
I know these machines aren’t exactly cheap, but it might be really awesome if you invested in a freeze dryer.. Or even just get a bunch of dehydrators and start slicing those up and making strawberry fruit leather for kids parents love healthy snacks like that for kids.. Or you could freeze dry a whole bunch of those strawberries and start stockpiling them that way none of them ever go bad and you’ll be able to sell them five years from now.. Freeze dried food products have a 25 year shelflife… I think what you’re doing is awesome dude.. I just don’t like seeing any food go unused or even just rot. It’s nice to be able to save it and preserve it so that not only can you make money off it but also just so it can feed people in need even if you just preserved it to donate to your local food pantry. That’s so much better to help out your community than it is to just let it rot…. God bless you and yours by the way The work that you do is something you and your family should have great pride 👌

Just a thought about getting more likes. Don't end your videos with your last word. Many creators leave a minute or so to allow people to like and or subscribe. Keep up the great work!
believe it or not those rocks do hold alot of minerals that those roots can pull from so getting rid of all the rocks wouldn't benefit you totally anyways!
Rocks are a nuisance- my soil is a lot like yours, up here in central NYS- but they do gradually break down and add minerals to the soil. It is not all bad. As logan says, best to just work around them.
Your face looks as red as those berries, can you please wear hat to protect yourself ! As they say ' if its not on ,its not on !' Thats another story ! Lol
The farm does not have enough worker labor to harvest all that is being planted. Go more UPICK on many more of the crops. Or save on production costs and irrigation water, cut number of crops planted or amounts of each. Pick only your best soils to grow on How far is the farm from populated areas? Beatiful loaded strawberries, smart planting on plastic, heats 5he soil for earlier rippening and blocks weeds. Weeding is a high labor cost for berries Plant the corn on plastic. No Roundup, advertise Roundup Free. Customers love chemical free. Use tractor tillage between corn rows. Wonderful corn u grow there. Nothing like the Supersweets varieties right out of the field, partially husk3d n microwaved butter n pepper, mouth taste heaven Your limestone rocks add lots of expensive micronutrients n minerals, rocks too small to case planting or ground crops deformity. Nice shaped potatoes n beets Sammi is as sweet as those yummie strawberries
What an absolutely charming video! Those strawberries look delicious! 😋 Thank you for sharing your harvest with us.
Look at all those beautiful strawberries! The garlic is looking great. ❤

Harvesting Berries is like a full court press to insure what you pick Sells in a very timely manner and then it’s Time to Pick again. 🤔👍🙏
Jamaica 🇯🇲 here wow a great crop so happy for you and your family
It's funny...I don't even like strawberries, but your farm looks great. Guess all the elements came together this year.

You are hard working people. Love watching you collecting these wonderful berries. God bless you all!
Wow. Beautiful harvest. It is a.testament to all the dedication from your care.
Thanks for the video. I've never heard of dill or its cousins being planted deeper then 1/4 - 1/2 inch. Look forward to seeing how that evolves.

Garlic scapes are edible. You could probably sell those are your farmers market store! Other market farmers do.
Believe it or not they are bought / sold for florist work byMayesh..they even have a tutorial on a tall whimsical floral arrangement with beautiful curly garlic scapes. So pretty❤
I Think they tried but no one wanted them
@@fannybuster Too bad. If you put the scapes in a glass of water, they keep well and continue to grow and the bloom matures. Even the bloom is edible.
Do you sell Dietz and Watson deli meats in your market? Thanks for the video.
Вот и лето пришло. Сейчас все будет расти, цвести, и пойдут замечательные овощи.

thanks to farmers, we can enjoy warm meals with our families. we extend our heartfelt gratitude to you
Sammy is a very hard worker! She needs a raise!
Frank too! 💖
Curious minds want to know…did the slushie machine overflow when it thickened???? 😂❤
It did not, sammi felt more comfortable emptying a little so we did
So many gormless opinions. You deserve a medal for your ongoing restraint.
I’ll make you a trophy with crocs 💜
Can't believe you don't have dozens of people out there picking!! Fields in our area never look half that good and full of pickers!
Good day to all.
You could put a bigger basket down and pick with both hands. That is the way we pick when we have so many. It is so much faster. Those are beautiful berries.
I love how the dog just sits in the truck!! Good dog!!
What does the honey do for it? I’m intrigued
Rocks are minerals
Picking strawberries is like, this special treasure every time
A lot of strawberries. I love strawberry icecream. Can i have a box? ❤️🍓😋😀
Sammie: the Strawberry surprise mixologist. You are a lucky guy, Logan.

I've found that dill doesn't need to be covered at all. Just sprinkle it on top of the ground and it'll come up.
Hi Logan, with your strawberry plants do you pull everything out when finished fruiting, or those same plants be used for another year or 2
Roundup ready 😮
Beautiful berries. The slushy looked delicious. Tge video ended and ws don't know if it was filled to full??
Strawberries are extraordinary.Do you freeze some amount for yourselves ?
We freeze a bunch!! Great to have for some strawberry jam too!
Beautiful harvest ❤❤

Lots of beautiful strawberry 🍓🍓🍓
Red yummies is a bestest treat.
How much are you charging for pint of strawberry’s?
$6.50 a quart or $3.00 a pound
You need to invest in a stone remover as it will make your soil more friable as its too rocky
Garlic scape pesto!!!

Great video Logan❤
The Garden Weasel!
we did just pull the green out of the berries, never did cut off
Apparently water expands by 9% when it freezes Logan.
You grow GMO corn? (I heard you say Roundup)
Looks great!
Do you have your own hives ?
We do not, but we have been doing research on them. Thanks for watching 😁

wowww look so cold delicious
Who is the lazy worker just standing around in the background watching her pick at 2:56?
That’s not a person it is our fake scarecrow to scare away deer. It makes noise and it is powered from the sun. Thank you for the concern though

I think they live a far bit from each other
Hmmmm… Interesting! Is that the real purpose of that rotary tool?
