Although I have resolved my situationship/entanglement not by choice but by necessity. I was in this type of difficult entanglement forn13yrs. He controlled my happiness my moods etc..we had a very intense connection and chemistry which is now a kriptonite for both of us. After no interaction for over 6yrs I still deeply love him but no longer need him or feel emotionally stuck yet the moment he reached out he assumed he could jump back in time and pick up where he left off.
In this time I've grown to love me forgive him and myself and heal..I now SEE HIM! I'm nolonger emotionally that woman while still being the same person. I see that I have grown but he has not.
So I shut down his advances bcus being apart of a harem or a side chick is not my idea of being loved.
I am empowered with the love of self and keeping the struggle I had to endure to get here and I can say I love you and aprt of me is still in love with you but I respectfully decline. I know if I had given into his request and his manipulation I'd be drawn right back in bcus is is my kriptonite so I say thx but no thx.. b ez
I am so happy you healed your way out of that situation. Sis you deserve to be LOVED in all the right ways and it looks like you are slowly walking in that path!
Another question sis should ask herself: Do you love him or the man you want him to be? If it's the latter then it's time to step back?
