Ben Howard is an amazing and criminally underexposed artist. I recommend I Forget Where We Were, Keep Your Head Up, Oats In The Water, The End Of The Affair.... So many great songs.
Great song, would love to see what you think of his other songs, I Forget Where We Were is an insane album, quite dark and very atmospheric, I would enjoy watching someone dive into that!
Ben Howard mostly ditched the singing style you're speaking of between Every Kingdom and I Forget Where We Were. His sound changed so much with that album as well, going from up-beat folk to a dark ambient, folky, rocky, experimental sound. I'd definitely recommend checking out IFWWW if you ever get the chance!
