Stevie Ray Vaughn died in a helicopter crash here in Wisconsin after playing at Alpine Valley Music Theatre in 1990. There will never be anyone like him ever again. Thank you Ally for keeping his memory alive. Bless you. 😁👍🍺
Fantastic playing! Anyone who can play Stevie Ray convincingly has my respect. I loved Stevie Ray and saw him live from backstage at Bumbershoot in Seattle in 1984. I was supposed to interview him there for a magazine story, but he couldn't do the interview because of his drug problem. Only a few people who were backstage knew how bad off he was before the show; you wouldn't have seen it in the audience because he played so well. Not long after that show, he cleaned up and played far better. He was an amazing player and from everything I could tell, a really nice, humble man.
Wow just wow, not many people can even cover srv let alone turn one of his songs into their own style and make it fucking rock, and she just did, thx for blessing my ears, I know srv would be proud ❤
I miss Stevie so much, and had been listening to his music today. Then I came across this video, and tears are pouring. Damn, what a soulfull, emotional playing of a song Stevie wrote for his lady. Huge talent, and better than just talent, this lady has the feel for the song. Thank you for giving us this.
I love RUclips for this very reason. I stumble on talented musicians like her. Amazing version of Lenny. You know Stevie was sitting that audience just a smiling. Sayin damn I wish I could play with her.

Holy crap. Was not expecting that. SRV is smiling.
It warms my heart to see these young musicians keeping Stevie's spirit alive... especially these young ladies...this is good for guitar...keep up the great work Ally.....🎸🎸🎸
Not only Stevie but 'all' their parents/grandparents music. Some realize this was rock music at its peak. (It wasn't Madonna 😂) Couldn't get any better... imo 👉 This was good stuff! Hope we'll be seeing more. Beautiful playing!
Jimmy Recce... Warms my heart as well. That's why I will continue to drop amazon links for SRV Live At Montreux 82/85 DVD to the younger generation. Trust me, it will be the best 12 bucks you ever spend.

I'm a huge SRV fan and believe that nobody can really cover him as well as he deserves but I'll say this. Ally covers him as well as he covered Jimi. And that's saying something. I really enjoy watching Ally play.
Ally’s the whole package ! A beautiful woman with great stage presence, great vocals, and absolutely Great guitar skills ! I listen to her guitar videos over & over ! Kudos to her backing musicians as well !
Just WOW!! She is killer!! Close your eyes and that could be Stevie! She got the vibe perfect. Was an absolute pleasure to watch. I’d pay good money to see her play live! Awesome!
Just stumbled across Ally last night, omg she is extremely talented. It makes me feel good to know there are young people who can feel the greatness in my era of music. I would like to see a tour with Ally and Samantha Fish, what an absolute great show that would be.
Incredible. What I love about live recording like this. Is you can imagine being in the audience with your eyes closed feeling every single note. As it's played with such feel.❤🎸🎵🎶🎵
WOW! Stunning and Ally took me on a truly amazing journey with a SRV classic that she made her own. SRV would be proud! Big hats off to Ally and the band.
I am blessed to have my ears dictate my eyes, when I first saw this video I thought and was thinking another girl dressing to for us the audience to take notice, then after 1 minute my ears rescued me, sorry for the pre judgement, respect.. I am 64 years old coming from a culture of Jimi Eric, Jeff Beck Page, and so and so on, well, nice to see a different gender take that seriously and rightfully so. oh, and THANK YOU
I was blessed to have grown up in Austin when Stevie was just getting started. I think he would have been impressed but I would have loved to hear him play along side her.
Excellent performance! Keeping SRV alive! And the girl is so sweet and beautiful and such a fantastic player! Keep up the good work young lady! Thumbs up!
Thank's so much for this. As i listen my mind reflect on the story's his long time friend Mr Lonnie Mack had too say about Stevie. The lov music and all the history in between will never be forgotten. Gt job little lady BRAVO 👏
I have seen SRV 6 times, even got a few friends to jump on the SRV bandwagon. I loved Texas Flood CD when I purchased it, and played Lenny over and over. When he passed, It was the 1st time I cried for a celebrity passing. I listened to Lenny and Riviera Paradise from In Step, over and over. Later I was going through some really hard times from a bad relationship, and she pawned all my music and equipment to support her habit. I had a substantial collection of Vinyl and CDs, Concert Art and such. It was something I loved and I think she wanted to take away all my love and my heart I guess since I would not support her habits. The 1st thing I replaced was all my SRV music. I put this CD in my car stereo straight from the store. and this song made me cry, made me smile, and made me open my eyes and realize I couldn't languish and just die, I had to move on. Tonight you brought all those memories back to me and I was hanging on your every note, like I was listening in person. Damn Good Work! I will be listening for more of your music and especially your blues guitar.
When Beck left this world I thought for sure that the music died that day! But then I've discovered a whole bunch of new and greatly talented folks like this that will carry the torch into the next millennium even after all us old farts are compost!

I was at that show at Alpine.
My favorite SRV song of all time is “Tin Pan Alley “
Stevie Ray never played an original notevin his life. Contrast to any BB king solo
Yes this is a wonderful ride down Stevie Ray lane. I am thinking keep your eye on Ms Ally. She is gonna be bringing some magic blues to the arena.
@dinorockwell3196 no you weren't but nice try

Just fantastic! You took an SRV classic and respectfully made it your own. Well done.
I couldn’t agree more. So many would make a heartfelt attempt to copy leaving disappointment; a true interpretation here- brought me to tears.
Fantastic. What a nice version! No doubt Texas is home of great guitar players.
I just ranacross this wonderful young lady and I have to say she is outstanding musician. Can't say enough about her. Love listening to her.

That was a fun ride! Could listen all day!
such an incredible performance!!
It’s called a packaged deal. So much good happening with this artist.
People put a guitar in your kids hands, it will keep them out of trouble, this young lady is amazing.
95% of kids that pick up a guitar quit within 2 weeks and don’t pick it up again
It takes some serious chops to get me to listen to blues. Well done.
Blessed be Ally V
For SRV
Lives on
In thee!
What a good music ! Cheers from Dordogne, France
