Camino got a letter from Maite and a gift, the white hair clip that she was holding, as a reminder of Maite's love. Although Camino and Maite are back in communication and plan to be together someday, Camino doesn't know when that will ever be. She is growing fond of Ildefonso and concerned about his deep sadness. She keeps trying to get through to him and get him to talk. She seems to want to be intimate with him, which is confusing, because she is so in love with Maite and has declared many times that she will never love Ildefonso the way she loves Maite. Perhaps the writers are going to complicate everything by having Camino fall in love with Ildefonso. He is turning out to be a sympathetic character, very kind and gentle with Camino, not the violent ex military man some fans feared he would be.
