Hello everyone! So, I just got back from Athens, and I wanted to share my thoughts on what it’s like to live or retire in this amazing city and what you can actually get for €100,000 in the center of Athens. Let me know what you think about the city, would you live here?
You need to do more studying and searching. You visited the wrong areas. There are lots of nice and safe areas in Athens even with 100k budget which is very low for a European capital you can find something desireable. Also there are nice areas all over Attica, don't limit yourself in the city centre only. In London 100k gets you nothing not today but even 30 years ago.
Yep the neighborhoods she covered were the richest (Kolonaki), the poorest (Metaxourgeio) and another one in-between, all being in the center of Athens. The center of Athens is for business, tourism or night-life, but it's not for living.
@oded999191 Piraeus is a great option, I think even better than Athens for living! It’s less busy and noisy, plus it has some really pretty beaches. The metro goes directly to Athens in about half an hour, which is super convenient. Since it’s a coastal area, property prices are pretty similar to Athens.
Thank you for sharing your experience 😉
You're welcome, I hope you enjoyed the video! 😀
I love little winding streets & alleyways, cute houses.😊
I love it too, they are just adorable and Athens has plenty of those! 😊
Great video 🙌
Thanks Marc, I am Glad you liked it! 😊

Remember when Greece banks closed, people couldn’t get their money, government bankrupt? NOW, realestate is increased😊

@mz1860 Right there with you! I love Greek culture, and honestly, the food might even beat Italian-but I’ve got a soft spot for Italy too! 💕
