My theory on how Teremana won over Espolon is that MAYBE your tastebuds were used to the additives after drinking 4 tequilas with them? 🤷🏻♂️
I also found it interesting that Dutch is a musician and doesn’t know who George Strait is.
Not a knock at all. I love music, many genres and there are LOTS of musicians that I haven’t heard of.

I just wanna make the point that these don’t have any additives because blancos can’t legally contain additives.
@@jeremyd6775 Are you sure about that? I thought any tequila can legally have up to 1% of 4 different additives.

Another great video, entertaining, Dillon knows his tequila, knows nothing about hoops. MJ cannot make tequila, but in hoops, he is easily the goat. Lifetime Chicago area native, hoopster myself, pretty good too.

Which do u prefer? Fortaleza or El Tesoro?
@@royn8032 I prefer Fortaleza for sipping. El Tesoro is very plentiful and inexpensive in my area so I drink more of it and use it in cocktails.
I give you guys props for doing the blancos it's way easier to hide additives in a blanco. The Repos and anejos is where it really stands out forsure. DO IT DUTCH! I got money on it! lol
Love the channel. You guys are very entertaining and I learn a lot. I’m newer to tequila. Always been a bourbon drinker. Can you recommend a couple tequila’s to get started? I’m not too concerned about price.

Santos is by far the best of the celebrity tequilas.
Perhaps pairing the winner Teremana with an actual certified additive free Blanco (like Cimarron) would have made it easier to find the differences, and then you would have chosen the “better” tequila.
I remember a lot of pepper with the terremana but it was a repo iirc. Love codigo 1530 anjeo! Espolon is our go to for inexpensive blanco
I've only had Teremana and Espolon. Espolon tastes too much like vodka. Teremana is not bad though it probably has additives. Makes an OK margarita. I buy Tres Agaves or Arrette for good inexpensive mixers. They aren't bad sippers either.
To me the only Celebrity tequila that I kind of like is Santo Fino, from Sammy Hagar and Guy Fieri, and that’s because it’s additive free. I’ve tried the Blanco and Reposado before and they’re actually pretty good. The Mezquila is kind of strange but it doesn’t taste bad.

The only one of these I have tried is Teremana. Unfortunately it wasn’t very good. Lots of off flavors on the front end like either they made bad cuts during distillation or like they are including the bitter parts of the agave in the mix. The finish was actually good because it tasted like agave but you have to get through some bad flavors which ruin the experience. Around the Teremana price point, I like corozon, olmeca altos, Tres agaves, arette, and even lunazul.
You forgot to add Casamigos, by George Clooney. It's everywhere and pushed a lot!
Probably because he sold it and not held by a celebrity anymore

I’d like see comparison celeb perfumes , would Taylor swift wanderlust beat Justine Bieber ‘girlfriend’.
What it comes down to is try different brands and buy what you like. I just viewed two different tastings of celebrity Tequilas. One loved the Jordan and hated the Rock. The other show was the exact opposite. It’s your dollar and you like what you like.
I have not tried any of these celebrity tequilas but I do NOT like Espolòn. Have tried the Blanco and reposado; will not buy anymore and don't know why I see it on so many people's good tequila lists.
Like the video and would like to see more blind taste tests with other more premium tequilas. ¡Salud!

Los Altos for Mixing....better than Espolon, way better
Wish I had your tequila prices near me. 818 is like $46. Espolon is around $26.
Next time toss in the good pick straight up. Kinda hard to be blind when you know the celeb flavor vs a new flavor after a taste test.

The Rock’s tequila is a good middle shelf tequila, I don’t like Espolon at all.

Celebrity Tequilas that are way better than you tested... Juan Lobo, Number Juan, El Bandido Yankee. I would not spend a penny on any of the celebrity tequilas you tested.
Any thoughts how Lebron James Lobos tequilla compares to these?
We did review his Repo - not sure how the blanco is or how it would compare though.

WOW for Teremana to win means these celebrity tequilas REALLY suck because Teremana blanco was extremely bad.
Codigo is only decent one the others are garbage especially 818 the worst one
