Happy holidays everyone! This will most likely be my last video of the year and what better way to go out than to showcase one of the greatest Mexican fighters of all time! Salvador Sanchez was a phenomenal talent that had one of the most well-rounded skill sets I've ever seen. His ability to slip and counter against excellent fighters such as Danny Lopez, Wilfredo Gomez and Azumah Nelson was second to none. Who knows what he could have gone on to achieve if it wasn't for his tragic death at such a young age. Chava at his sublime best! www.patreon.com/haNZAgod
Before the Wilfredo Gomez fight Sanchez told Gomez to look at himself good in the mirror because he wouldn’t look the same after the fight. He was right.
The best fighter to study on tape foe training fighters and the best fighter of his era. They should measure this guy against most like they did with Marcarino and Ali back in the day. ❤he died before his time. Rip a legend! ❤46 fights only 1 loss.
What’s amazing is that he had very good high guard as well to backup his footwork and head movement Of course he had granite chin but rarely relied on it to bale him out as he was one of the hardest boxers to hit clean
The greatest Mexican fighter of all time it’s not up for debate, discussion, or dialogue imo happy holidays to everyone and s/o to hanzagod for another dope video.
One of my all time favorite fighters. Danny Little Red Lopez had beaten Mike Ayala. Really impressed with that fight. Not long after Sanchez came around and changed everything. Amazing. Lopez fought out of Main Street gym Downtown LA. Albert Davila fought out of there too.
That’s my guy right there! Sanchez was that dude🙏🏾. Marvelous awareness, footwork and timing. He could anticipate the numbers 3 punches in. Chess ♟️ Master. Love the forearm deflecting.
Gone too soon. This man alongside of ricardo lopez, they were the greatest boxers i've ever seen with my own eyes. Literally no weaknesses with either one of them
That head movement and balance is incredible!no wonder despite having a short career because of his tragic passing many consider him the best Mexican fighter ever even above the legendary Julio Caesar Chavez-
His style would make everyone else look awkward or goofy but Sanchez made it look elegant. Idk if im explaining myself correctly but thats how i feel. The way he switches stance while punching, his constant bobbing and weaving all simultaneously is extremely hard to pull off on even in the gym alone. The fact that he was doing this in 15 round wars V legends just adds to rare level of talent he was
Sanchez had AMAZING defense, nearly impossible to hit. And when YOU DO hit him, he's got an iron chin. So you can't really win against this guy. True legend.
They still have a good defense. These boxing networks try to portray mexican fighters as dumb brawlers and their skills get overshadowed by their toughness. Look at pitbull vs davis. Pitbull blocked so many of davis punches but all people ever talk about is his power and supposed lack of skills.
Four Mexican horseman of apocalypse Salvador - Gilberto Roman - Canizales - Finito. What people like to overlook in Mexican boxing and just talk " one dimensional come forward " style.💯💯
Not only he has amazing defense, he's also one of the best counter puncher in boxing history. Which means he will always make you miss and pay. Complete nightmare.
thanks alot im become a autodidact boxer every day just waching videos i am waching some videos make for you of salvador sanchez, sugar ray leonar ,sugar robison, jack dempsey ,ezzar charles, jack la motta ,carmen de basilio ,floy patterson ,Willi Pep and Roberto duran for the best all the time
Hanza you need to do a video about your top 10 favorite Mexican fighters!! I'm not going to put you on a spot and tell you to do a top 10 greatest Mexican boxer ever, but if you want to do it, we all will be watching that video. 😂
Haha thanks man. I do have individual highlights of all my favorite Mexican fighters but I don't see why I couldn't make one in the future. I'd like to finish my current countdown series first though I think.

Hanzagod first love ur edits and i wish u happy holidays...if u see these comment could u please make an edit of usyk with the matrix soundtrack "clubbed to death"? I love usyk and i believe his style clearly resembles something that would look amazing with an Matrix aesthethic
@@RodrigoLima-ti9ol Thanks! I’d love to make a new Usyk video of his rematch with Fury but unfortunately my previous one of their first fight got taken down and I won’t risk it again.
I'm Japanese, but my all-time favorite is Salvador Sanchez. I'm too young to watch him and not in real time. It's all video. Although attention tends to be focused on his offense, his defense was probably good as well. Perhaps his positioning through footwork was good. Of course there are boxers stronger than him. But his fightstyle and personality are appealing. Be brave even if opponent is strong

Can you do a defense highlight of Marco Antonio Barrera? I don't think he gets enough credit for defense
merry xmas. thanks for all the footage over the years

Would love to see a Roberto Balado highlight video by you. Very underrated Cuban super heavyweight boxer that moved like a feather around the ring.
Elegance, sharpness, toughness, intelligence, iron chin, beast conditioning, speed, footwork, defense, power, the man was a freak of nature.
One of the Greatest Mexican boxers ever maybe even number 1
I put chavez at 1, him at 2, Olivares 3, Alvarez 4, Salvidar 5

A complete fighter who not only had it all, but could do it all (and actually did it)
Defence, Footwork, Adaptability, Offence, Insane Cardio, Stamina, Counter Punching
A complete Fighter
Also Roy Jones Jrs favorite Boxer
One of the most complete fighters ever. In my book, the greatest featherweight of all time.
Amazing indeed for Sanchez and Happy New Year haNZAgod!
The Mexican GOAT 🐐, It's not even close, we never saw the ceiling of his abilities!

Fought monster punchers like Danny Lopez and Wilfredo Gomez, they could barely make him budge on the few shots they could land.
talk about all these heavyweights but to me there's nothing more intimidating than a mexican with good defense
It seems like Mexican boxers had better defense in the 70s/80s
They still have a good defense. These boxing networks try to portray mexican fighters as dumb brawlers and their skills get overshadowed by their toughness. Look at pitbull vs davis. Pitbull blocked so many of davis punches but all people ever talk about is his power and supposed lack of skills.
I agree. The narrative of certain fighters are pushed sometimes to forcefully even when its inaccurate
