Shein Try On | So Disappointed

- I bought some stuff from Shein and I was so excited. Not what I was expecting. I was so disappointed that I didn't even want to post this. I looked at measurements and they still didn't fit 😒 I just got another order of Shein and I'm nervous to try the clothing on! Stay tuned for another Shein try on. First, I will tell you my demographic. I am a seventy-eight-year-old grandma. I've been toying with ordering from Shein, but I can't find any clothes that suit me. They seem to be for a younger woman. That's why I was surprised that none of those clothes fit you properly. I've been happy with Temu's clothes and many of their other products. I don't think it will accomplish any good purpose to order from Shein. The large polka dot dress motif is better, but the dress was too long as you pointed out. Your try-ons are always fun to watch.
You are such a beautiful woman, and you would make a burlap bag look good. That said, I'm with you regarding the SHEIN clothing... and I, too, would send them all back. I've been buying clothing from SHEIN for the past 2 years until TEMU came along. TEMU's clothing is far superior, imo. I don't shop at SHEIN anymore. I'm glad that you posted the video because it shows the difference between clothing from SHEIN and TEMU.
It’s good you showed this video because we all needed to see these clothes, which maybe would or would not work for us. I like shein clothes. 99 percent of them work for me. Thank you for posting this video. Temus pants never work me but usually shein’s do. I order from both and am usually successful. 🌷🌹🌷
Too bad about the second polka dot dress - really cute on you and the length looked good on you too. Even though you felt like it was a bust, nice presentation and I like how you go into detail . I’m in Arizona too and it’s so hot, I hardly leave the house!

Keely, how sad to get an order that’s such a bust. Some of the blind boxes that are dupes, the painting is a mess. I have had better luck with Temu. Next time will be better! 🤗

Hey Keely I love those red earrings. They really pop on you and look great! I will say the only two things I liked if they had fit are the first two dresses. The rest are a no for me. I think you do much better with TEMU! I am glad you shared for the people who would think of ordering and need to see the sizing. I order only tops and shoes from Shein. If I had to pick a polka dot dress it would be the second one. Keep trying I am sure now that you know the sizing you will definitely get some great finds!! Thanks for sharing!💗💗💗
I like the first dress. Thankyou for showing this video. I'm fixing to make a Shein clothing haul and I will be sure to measure myself before ordering and go by their measurements, not my regular size.
My unsolicited advice on what to wear with red jeans: black with white polka dots; white and black stripes; army green; white; black; animal prints....that's what I wear with mine. 😘

But i agree on that was a little bit other style on these things today 💖 You are a very beautiful lady and as you say to the outfit it makes you old and that is so true. In Norway every woman can where the same as younger people. There is no way that you should buy old lady clothes because you are not an old lady, you are so beautiful 💖 The hairdresser too say it is no age for hair eather, i find very much on Temu i dont alow clothes deside what i can where. Of course some stuff i dont where anymore but keep on dear you not there yet to hide you back on old fashion clothes you simply are to young and beautiful. Big hugs from Norway 💖

I love the small dot dress. It looks great on you. Not crazy about the large dot dress or the other clothes.
Oh gosh Keely, you are always getting so much clothes and other things some of the other things were cute and so sorry that there were duplicated things and they didn't send some different ones for you. I like that first poka dot dress, the second one I am not that crazy about because of that top part, I don't like wearing dresses and tops that show too much of my bust or in the front I don't like things going down that far. I also like longer dresses and am okay wearing them, I am alot older than you are so I like to cover my body better. Those red jeans were not my favorite, I would get dark purple ones instead. also that black top was a little too showy for me to wear, maybe when I was younger I would wear tops like that but and I did, but I have stopped doing that now. Keely, I’m a pretty new subscriber and I love all your videos! I’m so glad you posted this SHEIN haul because it helps us to see how their clothes fit you and we can compare to how the Temu clothes fit. I am shaped very similar to you and have very similar measurements but I am 5’6 and weigh about 25 pounds more, so proportionally I think we would look good in the same style clothes. I also look good in the same colors you do. I am going to try Temu because of you. Please keep up the wonderful videos! PS you are sooo pretty!
I forgot to say that although I loved the second dress…. I agree that it just didn’t fit you well. I liked the red earrings and would keep them. The clothes just didn’t fit you and I would send them ALL back too. Hopefully that helps.

If the second polka dot red dress didnt bunch up like that, it would have been a winner. I liked the denim dresses on you especially the second one. I know you said you didnt like the longer dresses but you look great in them. Try a higher wedge sandal. They will also make your legs look longer.
Well I’m so sorry this haul wasn’t a win. Maybe like someone told me to read the reviews and pay attention to the garment measurements particularly. I’d try a couple more things and then go from there. I also agree with you about the little dupe figurines. I like the Emma ones better I think is the name. I really do feel so bad for you. I think if I had to choose between the two dresses I’d pick the last one if it fits the way it should. I don’t think the Chinese know how to correctly sew Imo.

Hi keely, the second red dress looks good on you,.. love a polka dot shame the top half didn't quite fit love the length I'm only 5"2 and wear midi dresses I think they more flattering for us more petite ladies, having said that I live in the UK and we don't have temperatures like you do in Arizona, the red earrings look amazing against 0:00 your dark hair so that's a winner,😁

I thought I subscribed to you. I watched one or two videos before, and I guess I didn't sub. So here I am 3rd video I have watched, and subscribing now! That is too bad the clothes didn't work out. But it is good you are returning them, and not forcing yourself to keep them. The 2nd polka dot dress looks really nice, you can alter the length, but honestly, they should offer different lengths, not everyone is the same height. I am 5"1 so I know how you feel. I'm glad you posted this video, it shows that not everything you get is going to fit like you want it. And as for the blind bags/boxes, it's good to know about that too.
Hi Keely. Aww...so sorry this haul was a dissapointment. I know it takes a lot to produce these videos. The clothing was not up to par. And getting duplicates of the blind boxes is sad. What I am thinking is maybe it is safer to order one of the line at a time. My thinking is that they are dumped together, maybe one style at a time, creating a group of only one style on the top of the pile. I think it might be safer to order one each haul. Just a suggestion. As always, thank you for sharing with us.

Hi,Keely! I am sorry you were so disappointed with this order but sadly none of the clothes worked. Have to agree with other comments in that Temu seems to work for you in sizing. You always look so pretty in your try ons. Overall, the Shein items were so lackluster. If the last polka dot dress was shorter and fit better inn the bust, that would be my pick. Have a great day.

The Jean dress would look better at no rueshing, a definite no to black top and red jeans, agree about matching set, it's not you, the first red dress looked lovely only need a closure at the bust, the large spot dress looks good, but nothing is ok if you don't feel good, that's it with Shien sometimes not so good, keep going you have bought some good things in the past, love your hauls 😍🇬🇧
The two red dresses are cute. I like the first one best because of the fit...a pin at the front is no big deal, especially with the ruffle, because it won't show. The second red dress is fantastic on you (I love the tea length) but the sides of the top fit weirdly. Too bad because it was great otherwise. Could you have it altered easily?

I dont know if I told you or not, but for me, Sheins clothes were 2 sizes to small for me. I wear a medium in Temu, but Shein, I needed a XL 🤦♀️

I liked the first dress with the small polka dots better. I agree that you would have to secure the front, but I thought it was quite flattering on you otherwise. I also really liked the jean dress. I know you weren't a fan of the sides, but maybe if you sized up so it fit better?
Awww that’s too bad you didn’t like the 1st denim dress I thought it looked nice and the ruching snatched your waist, the second was nice as well. I love shopping on Shein it can be a hit or miss, I try to look at reviews and pics to better assist me

First off, the only clothing item that flattered you at all was the last one you tried on with the big polka dots. The style of it was flattering. I know you don't wear longer dresses, but it really was nice on you. I see what you're saying though about it not looking right at the sides at the top, but that style, the colour and all that looked really good, so if you could fix the top part, it would be worth it. However, you do a lot of hauls, so why fix it when you can return it and find something better?
I ordered from Shein for two years before TEMU became a thing, and I do have quite a few of their shirts, a summer dress and jewelry. There were a number of shirts that didn't float my boat and the sizing was a real crap shoot, even with reading the descriptions and checking reviews. Since I started ordering from TEMU, I have tried to go back to Shein, but I find that the sizing at TEMU is easier for me. I haven't ordered anything that didn't fit right. With Shein, it was very much hit and miss, both with sizing and with the material. Some material was really disappointing.
With TEMU, sometimes I get the soft, buttery fabric and sometimes it's silkier, but it's usually wearable, comfortable and I am not gravely disappointed. I seem to learn as I go. I'm in Canada though, and prices are a bit different. So, the pricing from TEMU is better than that of Shein up here, so I am almost ordering nothing from Shein now. I wish I could say differently, but I don't want the hassle of having to make frequent returns. Hopefully, the next haul is better for you. Cute earrings... they add a pop of colour by your face that really brings out the roses in your complexion. They looked great... best thing in the whole haul.

I like the first polka dot dress except for the v is a bit plunging. I wish modesty would come back for women.
I tried SHEIN and ended up sending everything back. It fit but just didn’t look good on me.
I don’t care for SHEIN at all. The clothing never fits correctly and I’m glad I found TEMU. The only thing nice at SHEIN is their makeup 💄. I thought the 1st polka dot dress. ❤

I do use Shein BUT you have to be even more diligent about measurements than Temu.

I'm sad for you. Most of the clothes are better on Shein than on Temu. I find them more modern. Maybe you made the wrong choice. I think you should find "in" clothes with the colours and the model you need for your body. Sorry for the mistakes. I'm french speaking.
