I love your comment that you hope there was something useful in this. This kit is my first attempt at weathering, and i have learned so much!! I think i might go back to the first video and binge watch the series!! It looks really, REALLY good! Thank you so much!
Hi Steve, your Mosquito looks amazing. Nice job with the decals and washes. I'll be looking forward to seeing part 19. Thanks for sharing. Have a great day. Jeff
Beautiful job. Interested to see what’s “in the wings”. By the way, it’s been 38-41C in Texas for weeks with no end in site! Hottest summer in a decade.😩🤦🏼♂️
Hi Steve, to me there is something attractive about a clean model, as per museum display models. That's no criticism, you are doing a splendid job, that's just me. Have a look at Celebrating Aviation with Mike Machat, Factory Models of the North American Aviation Corporation!
A very interesting method you have for giving the aircraft an 'operational' grubbiness without making it look like it flew through a mud puddle. I do like the pin wash method for adding streaks and grime. One question, what is the situation with the mustang. Will you be uploading the vid for that soon? Thanks and keep up the good work.
Operational grubbiness- I like that it’s just what I’m aiming for 😀. I’ll finish the mustang once the Mossie is done and before the next 1/32 subject. I was looking at it again yesterday and thinking that I didn’t have that much to do on it 👍
Splendid work on the dirtying up Steve, the camera tends to overblow the effect so it looks far dirtier than it actually is. Thinking of getting a set of the Barracuda stencils for the new 1/24th Spitfire when Airfix release it in the autumn as they'll set that off nicely. Keep up the good work.
Looking good! I've been trying to order some of the AK Starship filth, wash, streaking, etc but they are always sold out. I've not seen it in person but I've seen many modelers using it. Have you ever tried the AK Oil Brushers or Shaders? If so whats your opinion of them?

Thank you for the latest work on the Mosquito. The weathering is understated. Well done.
Thanks Louis 👍

Appreciate that Jeff thanks 👍
Hi Steve, the Mosquito get´s better and better each episode. Very decent weathering.
Thanks Ralf Ingo I'm pretty happy with how its turning out and looking forward to finishing her off
I caught up with a binge watch yesterday. It is coming along very nicely. Wonderful entertainment - thank you.
Cheers Paul 👍
Steve
Great to see the Mossie back on the bench. Decal work and washes look fantastic.
Peter
Thanks Peter glad you like it 👍
You work is a joy to watch, btw I hope the pheasant gets a nod for the contribution to your videos….
Thank you. On the pheasant (or pheasants there are so many) he’s a dammed nuisance to be honest but when I’m working I just have to press on 😬😀
Great job on the subtle weathering!
Thanks Ralph 👍
Just simply stunning.
👍
Looking phenomenal. Very nice work.
Cheers Mike 👍
Doing those cowlings that way is the mark of some one who was an actual maintainer and touched similar panels. Experience matters
Thanks Mac - I appreciate that 👍
Looking good. Nice to see you got the new decals to work out.
Thanks Chris they went on no trouble at all 👍
A new 1:32 project "in the WINGS" - ha ha!
Doh - missed that one Kevin 🤣
How did you protect the decals from the pin wash & weathering effects. I was surprised they were not affected when you rubbed over them.
Just a light overcoat with X22 Chris - not sure if I mentioned it in the vid🤔

Thanks Chris. I’ve been baking today and it’s only 26 here. Still I remind myself I’ll be shivering in zero temperatures soon enough.

Yes I know what you mean Finlay- I do my ships that way as you will know

You’re right about the camera accentuating the weathering effect Phillip. I think Barracuda always use Cartograph so you will like them.

Hi Bryan no I’ve never tried the AK products. I found the Mig products and have stuck with them since
When will this be finished? Been 3 weeks since this episode...
Doing a bit more this week - aiming to have it done in the next 2-3 to clear the bench for my next 1/32 project.
Mark Fit its better than Microsol? im really surprise :)
Works fine with these decals Michal - Micro sol is stronger but not necessary on these decals except for the no step panels.
Hi Steve I am unfamiliar with accounts could u explain and how I would support u

It's not that we find mid 30s amusing, it's that we call mid 30s April or October . . .
🥵🥵 don’t think I could cope with that Mac
