  • Preparing the Coyote for installation in my fox body restomod - In this video we start preparing the junkyard engine to get installed. This entails taking the intake off and adding the IMRC delete kit to it. I also had to remove the remaining exhaust manifold and one of the motor mounts. Finally, we install the SVE motor lift plate.
This series is documentation of the restoration and modification of my 1989 Ford Mustang GT fox body. I've had it since high school and we're doing a coyote swap.

Awesome video Brother! Installing a Coyote seems pretty involved but will be worthwhile!

Thank you brother! I hope so, figuring out all the parts you need to get a good fit is not as easy as one would think at this point.

Be careful with that kitchen knife. Does your wife know you have it in the garage? 😂 I can’t wait to see that engine in the car!

If needing a different style motor lift, I purchased for my coyote off eBay … comes in two pieces… USA made… very happy ! I lifted engine and set it on motor with no issues

Oh nice! Does it connect to the intake ports? I'm a few weeks behind on videos, the engine is actually in place in the car already. What transmission did you say you were doing with your coyote swap again? If you're doing a T56 I have a couple of questions.

@@seeunow44 Ah nice! Yeah nevermind I was going to ask what clutch fork setup. TKX sounds awesome though.
