It is! Just try with simpler plants first, the ones that don’t mind barerooting, usually plants that grow easily from cuttings. Once you get a grip, you can move to more delicate ones. Good luck!

Hello, brother. How long time bare root plant in parcel can survive? I order one maprang ( plum mango) plant from Thailand without reading all description. Only after shipping I realised, my plant is not potted, but semi- bared!! And will be in way around 2 weeks. How much chance to get live tree. How i can treat my tree, if it's condition will weak after receiving?

If the roots are well wrapped in wet peat or sphagnum moss and then wrapped with a plastic wrap around the sphagnum moss then it will easily travel 2 weeks. Covering the plant leaves and stems with a plastic bag will help it keep the moisture in the leaves. But sellers don’t do that so i don’t know what condition your plant will arrive. After it comes please keep the plant with bare roots in a bucket of water overnight, in shaded and cool place. Then pot it next day and cover the whole pot including plant with a big plastic bag, airtight is better. Potting mix should be just moist not soaking wet.
