Gun scanning metal detectors coming to NYC subway stations | News 12

Gun scanning metal detectors are set to be installed at New York City subway stations. Mayor Eric Adams said the detectors will be rolled out at select turnstiles as part of a pilot program with Evolv Technology. The scanners use artificial intelligence technology to pinpoint concealed weapons on a person as they swipe into the subway system.
