they have been around for ages, just that their video quality n camera are on the serious improvement stage.. infact u get just cases for iphone that are ex/intrinsically safe which cost u 1000 US$ so u cna get good footage
Thank you a lot for this video. I think of buying this phone and there are barely amy english videos about it. And there are barely any rugged phones with good camera. This seems to be the one. Can you tell me please how many days this phone last (battery) and mentiond how heavy do you use it. And does it have a portrait mode in the camera? (mode, when the object in the foreground is sharp, and background is blurred) Are you able to switch between prefred network (5G or 4G) or using 5G is mandatory?
battery 2 days easy, portrait mode note specific but u can focus on closer subjects and blur the background.. it has night vision mode that is like ur CCTV cameras working on INFRARED light.. and u can see clear.... worth the money
Quick question. Did you put any type of screen protector on the phone to limit scratches? Or is the Gorilla Glass 5 good enough to not need protection? How has whatever choice you made worked out?
My phone arrived a few hours ago. I am running it on wifi until I can get it activated by my phone service provider. I have most of my apps set up. Oh boy can it drive sound into my bluetooth speakers. Did you install the screen protector that came with the phone? If so, did it make the touch screen less sensitive? I am just starting to play with camera, especially the night vision.
excellent... i didnt install the one that came, using the one that was still on the phone itself... btw where did u order from n where did u get it delivered to?
1000$ is a waste. Is the ships camera intrinsically safe for tankers? BTW if you got a device to be used on deck did have to get authorization from the company to use? As using devices whatever they may be on the deck needs to be approved and checked
My device is for my personal videos and it has its own ex certificate approved by several authorities. i have also discussed with my required authorities about the use.
I can say that you maybe a chief engineer or captain from your video. . You are on a ship. . Keep safe

@@Thedeepseaman I got to play with the night vision. Great stuff, both as an IR night vision camera and as just plain a NV device.
