Big Ben, the large bell, in Queen Elizabeth tower, has a crack in it, which is why it goes WOnnggg. It was designed by an architect, not by a bell foundry. i dont get americans obssessio nwith london whn the rest ofthe uk is so much better lol, dont get me wrogn ive been to london 4 times and i dont like it but there are some good things, the drinking scene is escellent as is the craft beer scene and the street food is to die for but the place itself and the people are horrible
Oh no, really? Lol. London wasn't a main destination for me... it's was just a stop where I would meet my good friend and start our European adventure. I wasnt expecting much, but from that first train ride to Central London, I fell in love with the city! Yes, it's a little dirty, and it smells a little like garbage lol, but it is still so beautiful and so different from any other city I've been to in America. Someone mentioned that the area we were in had a great vibe and atmosphere, and I totally agree. There is so much to do, great places to eat. I loved the mix of modern and old Georgian/ Victorian architecture.... and the diversity of people was wonderful! I am sad I couldn't explore more of the Uk, but my time there was limited....but I totally believe you when you say there are so many other places in the UK that are just as wonderful. 😊👍
advice ignore the south of england and avoid london, the north is the best, it is like being in lord of the rings or harry potter up northand MILES cheaper@@odysoothingchaos
@cyberash3000 I love the Lord of the Rings! New Zealand is on my list of places to visit precisely because I'd love to see those amazing cinematic landscapes from the movies ... however, to get to NZ is quite the journey, so if I can get Lord of the Rings landscapes in the UK, I'll take it!!! Thank you for the suggestions 👍.
