And then he didn't rush charging against Eli because he noticed Eli was having trouble regaining his strong stance and balance. He even encouraged him by saying "come on". Robby probably wanted to win against the best of Eli. But in my opinion, he actually wanted to lose because he is sick of all the moral garbage from Kreese and Silver and he wants all this rivalry to be over.
I rewatched 20 Times this fight. Eli formed dojo Cobra Kai version Johnny Lawrence (eagle fang), cobra kai pure (Kreese), and finally Miyagi do. 3 dojos combined = ultimate fighter karaté all Valley. The best fight of cobra kai.
Personally I think that Miguel could've won the tournament if it weren't for the sad fact this season ate away in his faith in Johnny, his love for Sam, and just removed his heart from the tournament.
For sure, he suffered so much this season. I think even if his mind state was perfect during the tourney though, his lack of training after the dojos split would probably still put him at a disadvantage against Hawk and Robby.

When you pause at that exact moment both of them where about to punch one another so it’s clear that this fight was equal. So no one should say Eli’s a better fighter or Robby or Miguel. Every fighter has their day that they win or lose against the same opponent. Fighters go through that every day. They win against an opponent who they may lose against to if they fight another time. @@weskersama4022 that’s literally two styles. Eagle Fang is basically Cobra Kai karate but showing mercy and Miyagi Do is just Miyagi Do. The whole thing about them knowing 3 styles when every character are only using one or two styles

the fact that Miguel is still the best fighter on the show his head wasn't even in the game and he almost destroyed Eli in like 30 seconds he's still not even 100% and he's still the best notice how Miguel didn't struggle against Eli he was finna 3-0 Eli while Robby is struggling and trying his hardest against Eli has definitely risen to be the 2nd best fighter on the show Robby is washed he should've kept that same energy he had for Kenny for Eli I can't tell you how much I was rooting for Eli to knock the shit out of Robby bro really thought he was all that he thought he was doing something by taking the shirt off he thought he was better than Johnny lol aleast Johnny can win all Valley tournaments 2x Robby you can't win anything lmfao he got what he deserved
