I don't understand the purpose of putting this on the passenger side. You've completely blocked the c-pillar and view of checking your blind spot. Makes more sense to put this on the driver side. It's dumb if not downright dangerous to put this on the passenger side.
I haven't looked over my shoulder in a long time. I have blind spot mirrors with way better visibility than looking over my shoulder. With nothing on those windows they aren't that great to begin with and if you are offroad or trying to dodge low to the ground obstacles you need blind spot mirrors or a spotter. It's also much better in my opinion for keeping some peripheral vision looking forward while just checking the blind spot mirror.
