Owner of a pet dog myself. That first story is just a sad reminder that some people should not be allowed to own dogs if they won't care for them properly. Hope your doggie was not too traumatized. Stay Safe !
I've been fighting a "family" trying to get another dog. They had theirs put down during covid. Dogs and cats are not objects but family members. Pets like me, for my cat all need prayers to be better.
Those are what we call rez dogs. There is a whole different cultural idea of how dogs should be treated on the reservation. We have a rez dog we raised from a pup because my kids wanted to rescue it. It loves people, but hates other dogs. If we had left it at the family's house on the reservation it likely wouldn't have lived to be 1.
Awwwww as a tribal member of the Navajo Nation I am truly sorry for your bad experience at monument valley. I’m not familiar with that area but there are plenty of other places you and your trusty loving sidekick can visit that I’m sure would be a much better visit for you and your little one. I recommend Canyon De Chelly in Chinle, Az. If you need a tour guide I would be more than happy to guide you. Safe travels By the way I love your videos.
I am a Native woman from Canada. I went to Monument Valley about 30 years ago and it brought me to tears from the incredible beauty! I found the place where my spirit lives and was humbled by the otherworldly desolation and fell in love. My husband and I will be going there either this late late fall or next winter. ❤
I'm sorry you had such a bad experience. Monument Valley is a magical place and I've had some of the best experiences ever in my many times there. But you DO need to be aware of some of the undercurrents. Monument Valley is Navajo Tribal Land, but mostly the Navajo do not profit from it. Most tourists come, stay at the non-native owned Gouldings Lodge which has lately been very disrespectful of Navajo land and sensibilities (you'll find out about that at the Navajo run museum). Navajoland has a lot of poverty and it galls a lot of the residents to see tourists skim in and out with no respect or profit to the owners of the land. What is key is to spring for a Navajo run tour. You will be taken off the beaten path by a Native guide who will explain about Navajo cosmology, history, life on tribal land, and some of the issues facing modern day Navajo. It's also important to try to gas up at Native run gas stations and stay at the Navajo run hotel and buy from the tribal run art store. Every tour I've been on has been different and some involved meeting members of my guide's family and learning about their traditional sheep herding. Yes, this can all add up, at least compared to free camping on BLM land and doing your own wandering. But consider it a "tax" for the hardworking people who have been stewards of this land through many decades of hardship. I hope you give Monument Valley another chance. It is truly a special place.
Throw money around, and people will treat you better? Bull... If they want tourists, they need to be tourist friendly. That does not always mean "respect or profit".
@@robbby4011 that’s the problem. They don’t necessarily want tourists. But a tourist infrastructure was set up in their midst without their permission. At one point they were able to claw back sovereignty of most of the area, but the Gouldings complex still draws in crowds. In the last decades, the Navajo have been attempting to accommodate the tourism they can’t stop in a way that doesn’t erode their culture or hurt the land, and benefits the people who are protecting the land. If you go to their sacred place, it’s best to respect and honor that. I
@@robbby4011 I would also suggest that perhaps you should NOT go to Native Nations. If you want multimedia theaters, shuttle buses, and stores full of tourist trinkets, go to one of the overly commercialized National Parks like Zion. The Navajo and other Nations are trying to craft a different kind of experience for a different kind of tourist, those who are curious about their culture, respectful of their land, and don't need a load of tourist honky-tonk to amuse them. When you go to a gas station, you enrich the individual owner (and the Chevron, Shell, or Texaco company). When you seek out a Tribal gas station, you may actually pay less as they don't have to charge certain taxes. But the stations are run by the Tribe and the profits support Native schools, health clinics, and infrastructure. You pay the same or less, but your positive impact is so much more. If you've traveled all the way to Monument Valley or Canyon de Chellys, why not hire a Native guide who will get you into restricted areas and enhance your experience? Otherwise, why the hell go there if you just want to stand on an overlook for five minutes. If you want a souvenir, why buy from Gouldings where they take a hefty cut (and where real Native artwork is interspersed with cheap mugs and made in China feather festooned tat that has nothing to do with the Navajo? Why not walk a few steps to the Tribal run store and museum where the artwork is of a higher quality (often a better price) and the Native artists get a bigger cut? If you really have no money, there are plenty of roadside stands where Tribal members sell their wares. I once bought a beautiful rock that a nine year old girl had carved with pictures of wild horses. She wouldn't take more than $5 for it, but she spent half an hour telling me about her plans to be an artist when she grew up. I still have that rock as a paperweight on my desk and I smile every time I see it. $5 for ten years of smiles is a great bargain in my book. Seek out the unique experiences on Tribal land and don't expect Disneyland. You will leave with great memories.
Gosh Sarah, what a bad experience that was. Some days are like that. My favorite motto for those times is "Shit Happens". Have to admit though this is one of the cutest videos I have seen.Girl you are living the life. Good days and good weather are coming. You go girl.
Wow, how crazy is that, staying in someone's backyard, and with all the noise they don't come out and check on you and try to do something with the dogs, and to be so cruel as to not care about the dog's well-being after hearing all the yelping. I hope everything will get be better for you after this experience,
I hope from here on out, things will go much better!! I was hoping you'd add a picture of your precious "little one" at the end! 🥰 Those poor little chihuahuas at that place you stayed! 😥🐕
I always try and camp far away from other people, just to avoid drama. More and more people are going off the rails now days, they lack good manners, and common sense. I would rather not deal with such!
If you define a good experience differently then you had one. You learned about a different culture. That's a good experience and you learned you really never know for sure about the weather ( probably already knew that but nice refresher).
Miss Sarah, The decades and centuries of rain, and wind have formed Beautiful features few enjoy for their strength. The two most powerful forces on our planet are wind and water, being amazed at what beauty and destruction they can make is a wonder. Being optimistic can be very hard when wearing wet weather gear, but I try to get out and watch. As an avid snowshoe camper I try to, not let weather dictate my activity. On a cold morning in a "hot" tent waiting for the heat to rise can dampen a whole day if I let it. One time out with my daughter (her learning to Xcountry ski) we built a fire to season a new cast iron Dutch oven. The cans of beef stew we threw in as it cooled was some of the best I've ever eaten. With all my Love for you I cannot guide you to see the positive but please know you are in my prayers Sweety. I am very happy LIL ONE is safe and has a terrific Mommy. Prayers for those other dogs to get better parents and that they lose their "campsite" status. With Love and Respect Sarah, you are in my prayers Hoka Hey
So sorry of your experience....We visited Monument Valley and had the best experience. Met a native who invited us to stay on his land (we had a camper). He personally took us on a tour into the Valley to where ceremonies are conducted. His grandmother lived in the Valley and we were able to see quite a bit most tourist will not see. Please do go back you'll be glad you did. Wishing you the best.
Sad to hear things did not work out there for you. Your still pictures wore fantastic as always. Look for better things ahead and take care of yourself and little one. Until next time.
That must have been so scary for you and your dog. Also for the small dogs at the hipcamp place. How sad. Hopefully your new fridge is now up and running. It's a shame you didn't have a good experience in Monument Valley. I've never been, but it's one of the places I want to go. Hopefully you can go back another time and have the experience you're hoping for.
Sorry you had a bad experience. We went a year ago and woke up to snow. So our view was all snow covered! I like your view better. Thanks for sharing your beautiful pictures.
I’m so sorry . I hate to see you going through this. I can feel the heaviness in your heart. People are not caring and giving as they once were. Your heart is good , you will heal from this only to grow stronger than you already are. I send the tightest virtual hug a may possibly send. As always my prayers are with you. Rise like an eagle now.
all those cars driving by makes MV look like Disneyland.. things will turn around, without bad days, we can't appreciate the good ones..keep on jeepin!
Hey young lady I'm so sorry things went awry for you but there's always a reason. God my be looking after you and you may not know until later. I'm sorry I haven't been watching lately I'm so behind in my work the only time I have lately is late at night. Your looking wonderful but I see you are stressed, hopefully you will have better experiences later. Love yah, Old Kenny
I thought you were going to say you got in trouble with the Tribe; like for hiking backcountry or off the one designated trail without a guide or filming a monetized video without a permit. Glad that didn't happen.
I’m so sorry you had such a bad experience! And with those dogs!!! OMG!! I’m with you in the fact that they would have hurt little one!! Poor baby she was probably terrified! Those people should have their dogs locked up! There was no reason for that. Hopefully Hip Camp will take them off their list and give you your money back! 🤞🏼👍🏻 as far as the restaurant goes, there’s no excuse for being a downer. I usually ask them if they are having a ruff day, or if they’ve had to work more hours than they wanted, OR if they had a mean customer. Now that usually works to get a smile out of them because they know I care. You worked in a bar….you know what I’m saying. Anyway, hopefully the rest of your time goes smoothly. Take sweet lady!! ❤️❤️❤️
One must change their expectations when on the Rez. Sounds like you made the best of it. Weather this winter/spring hasn't been the best also, I could have sent you to the most amazing Boulder full of petroglyphs inside Valley Of The Gods. There is so much to see around Bluff. Did you go look at the San Juan River Goosenecks?
Hey Jeepsy, bummer to hear about the latest experiences. Some people are simply miserable and difficult if not emotionally draining to try to connect with. Keep your chin up, way more real and kindhearted folks out there. Warmer weather always a plus too. ✌️
The fact that the owners of the four dogs didn't came out to investigate when all the trouble started is a clear indication they were probably trying to scare you off and I'm guessing they probably release the dogs everytime a new camper arrives hoping they will leave. Of course it makes absolutely no sense why they would even have a campsite only 15 feet from a private residence, what kind of zoning law is that? Hope the little one is okay, Jeepsy!
I rescued a puppy in Northern CA. He was appropriately 7-8weeks old. He was found at a remote campground. The host said he appeared on a little knoll one morning. Long story, short...he came from a Native American man's property. I was told he doesn't treat his dogs as pets, they stay outside and keep predators away. They inbred and became an issue chasing wildlife. I've had my pup since he was a handful. He is not a good pet. His prey drive and resource guarding are a full time job. So...if you are in Native Land, it may be the culture? Idk but open to more info
I’m sorry to hear that your experience there wasn’t a good one. I know you’ll go back. It’s a beautiful place. I’m a firm believer of the saying “if you see someone without a smile, give them one of yours”. Still doing it. Love you!❤️
Glad you share the good and the bad. Its real day life living out of a vehicle traveling. People think its always rainbows and unicorns every day. So, so glad lil one is ok!!! Once I saw the dogs, especially big dogs, I woukd had been gone. Too risky and dangerous. And frankly, no one should put up with that, even if you didn't have a dog. Keep up the great videos!
I also had a bad experience with Monument Valley, I got kicked out for trying to take a morning sunrise photo, I shit you not. I been to Monument Valley many times and I shoot the sun going down when the light is right, spending the night shooting astro and in the morning sunrise. I'm in and out before the tourists show up, well they change the rule, now the only time you can take a picture is between 1p.m. and 5p.m. when the light is horrible. You have to hire a guide if you what to get a good photo and that guide is very expensive. I will not be back; I'm not going to be a sucker.
A guide told me to get out right now, yelling that into my face, I really thought the guy was trying to fight me. I had a stroke and half paralyzed on my right side. He was also accusing me of not being able to read because it says on the website you have to hire a guide to take photos in the morning and it would cost over $500. To be fair I never read the website, I was on a month-long photo trip and was in the area and decided to stop in, like I said I've been there many times before and never had an issue. There was one other person there, another photographer that the guide drove out there. The west is being shut down quickly due to overpopulation and capitalism, it takes money, and you have to schedule an appointment three months in advance in a lot of places now.
Utah has some amazing views. I once drove past a store that had been carved into the side of a cliff face. "The store was in the bottom of a big cliff."
Good afternoon. This is Ted from Texas. I am one of Wonderhussy big fans. I am truly sorry you had a bad experience. I am a lot older than you are and I've had my share of really bad experiences in my life. I keep hoping for the better one to come. I'm still looking. But you are a strong woman that has great sense of value and understanding of life. You have a strong will to survive and do good. You will come through this a better person. This is what I've been told by professionals oh, haha. I'm hoping it's true someday. Good luck on your next adventure be safe
O sorry you had all these unpleasant things happen. Once your fridge is in you can move on to the next adventure. Everyone stay warm, safe, happy and healthy. From Henrico County Virginia
Visit again -- in warm weather. Being on Navajoland in the winter is not good unless you are a pro at traveling in the winter. The weather, unfriendly people (a lot are deeply introverted). I think MV has become very commercialized. It is what it is. You can't blame it on the Dine' people (Navajo) as people can be very rude or standoffish anywhere you go. I've learned to not take it personally, as their behavior is a reflection upon themselves! I'm Dine', myself but have lived off the reservation since I was 18. My husband is non-Native. He is more extroverted than me. My husband and I went in Dec 2021. It was very cold and the restaurant was closed. We had to drive to Gouldings to get something to eat. This was during Covid and it made for a lot of people anxious about visitors, etc., Be safe. If I lived on the rez, I would invite you to camp in my back yard for free. God bless you and keep you in Him.
Beautiful video Jeep’s , I hope you are feeling better now that you are away from those animals out in the valley, human & 4 legged. Keep safe & stay happy Elaine from Queensland,Australia.
Been using a diesel heater for my RTT on my Jeep. Def works well and pretty easy set up. Sits on tire table, house runs into the tent and uses about 2/3 gallon of fuel in 12 hours on low. Sorry about the bad karma in MV, next time will probably be better. Hester was about $225.00. My fridge is dead too lol
The music choice this time for the video, is on point. It is close to Duran Duran, Come Undone. Within the lyric is : Hey child Stay wilder, than the wind.😉
I hope you get a refund! Once you do get a response, I suggest letting HipCamp know the circumstances. They need to tell people they will be 15 feet from the owners home with out of control dogs running loose and barking. The owners not responding while you were there and then saying their dogs fight with each other all the time is lame. Little One could have been injured plus the stress of listening to the dogs. I live in the Mojave Desert and locals that have been here for 30+ years say this is the wierdest weather for spring. It was the coldest March and now April with the wildest winds nonstop for days and weeks. Climate change in the desert is real. The snakes came out and then disappeared again. It should be 85 to 90 degrees by now but its only about 60 degrees at noon. I'm sure its the same in the Monument Valley area. I heard the wild flowers are blooming in Arizona.
I'm in Mohave desert too. Up around 4,000ft. The wind gusts have been 70mph+ which is ungodly rare!!! These are Kansas like straight line winds. They can peel the paint off your house! My poor hummingbirds....I've refilled their feeders alot cuz the winds have emptied them. I thought my travel trailer was gonna blow over the other day. It's been colder. I'm usually getting my swamp cooler ser up by now???? I'm still running heater and electric blanket. Some spring. Hard to plant anything food wise.
@@underthetornado Same here with the wind gusts blowing things that should not be moving. There have been several days that I delayed driving to town. With the dust blowing here we almost need goggles to go outside.
Finally got over 80 for the first time since last November today in the Mojave Desert. Hit 91. But yes the coldest winter/spring in like 45 years. Usually it gets in the 20s and 30s for 3 weeks in December and that's basically our winter but this year that did happen but it also got down into the 20s and 30s again in February. I've been here 14 years and that never happened before.
We visited Monument Valley a few times in the 1950's. Very primitive then. I still have an 8x4 foot hand woven rug my parents bought for me in 1957 at a trading post. Cost was $45.
This week I went to Monument Valley and I know exactly what you mean. I also was looking for that peaceful spiritual experience and didn't really get it. I did get nice photos though; but that's it.
You get to have bad experiences AND talk about them. I would be wrecked if I watched another animal hurt like that. I probably wouldn't have been as nice as you about it, and I just may have left with an extra dog. Not saying that would be the answer, but I know how that affects the soul of a person like you. I'm headed that way from Missoula in a couple weeks, not so sure I won't change direction and head for Nevada. I'll leave that to my HP. Sending good vibes your way...your coping perfectly fine!!! The spot for you will be much better, I'm sure if it.
Been there several times, but in warmer weather. One of my fave spots. Canyon de chilly is awesome also Spider rock. Love that area!!!! Go back in warmer weather I assure you , you will enjoy the area.
Bad people only prevail for a short time, word soon gets around. The downside is the damage they cause to good people, hold your head high girl nice places are waiting for you and little one.
You might never find a more beautiful campsite as you had. It was the best I've ever seen. To bad your fridge broke. Glad you told people about the terrible one! I can't believe those people didn't care about their little dogs. My boxer went after a little dog once. I tackled him an was loosing my grip. I was on the ground an grabbed him by the balls an was able to pull him back. Had no idea if he would bite me for that but thank goodness he didn't! He turned his goofy giant head an gave me the funniest look! Haha i got to his collar again. An layed on him till the owner got her little dog. I'm only 5'3" an he fought every dog he came across. Got him when he was 5. Barely knew him but his owner died on my birthday so that was my present an his death present. He had never been in a house so the first thing i had to do is pull him across the kitchen floor by his collar. Feet sliding all over on the linoleum but when he got to the wood floor he could walk without sliding. Never tried to bite me. My dog Rosebud weighed more than him an she was a fighter too. Took me hours of holding him up by the collar an putting my foot out to keep Rosebud from attacking him. Success! I did it!!!! Both were very protective towards me. If that little dog you saw didn't get help from the owners i would have took it away from them straight to the police station. Sorry got carried away on that story. Peace
As they say never let someone else's actions destroy your love and beauty. You beam with a glowing spirit , hang in there, we love your journeys and even though they are not for everyone to do, we have that little imagination brought into our homes. God Bless
Actually that is refreshing that you were honest about it, I hate it when people think everything has to be super positive ALL THE TIME! That is not even possible, and delusional. Next...
Momument Valley is way commercialized compared to where you were earlier. It's a day trip at best and if you don't like the weather you'll have to take it up with God. The rest of the West is feeling blessed with all the rain and snow.
So sorry you've had such a bad streak, Sarah. I don't blame you for wanting to cut your losses and try again another time. If you're still in this general area I would suggest you try one of my all-time favorite adventures - Toroweap Point on the Grand Canyon. Sixty-some miles of dirt road leading you to the rim of the inner gorge of the canyon. Go during the week and you might even have it to yourself! It might still be snowed in but it's one for the bucket list for sure.
I stayed at a hipcamp in monument valley last year in someones backyard. Place called Hummingbird campground. IT WAS SENSATIONAL. There was a private trail that led to the monuments that was undisturbed and private. We watched the anular full eclipse from there. The Indian family that ran the hipcamp were very nice.😊
There is a place you might be able to use at Gooseneck Campground State Park. It's not too far from your locaton so you might take a look. Even if you don't stay there you should check it out if you haven't already. Sorry things didn't work out for you I enjoyed Monument Valley myself but I was just passing through.
I like hearing the good and the bad. fill bad your dog not being able to do her thing. You made it out ok. Hope you post thing on there sites good and bad. For the next person
Dear Sarah, this is my first time watching your channel. I just came here from your interview with Bob Wells. I left a comment for you there. I hope you posted a very detailed negative review of the backyard "campground" with the aggressive dogs. I wish you had called the police while you were still there, reporting them for animal cruelty. I hope to be part time on the road within the next few years. One of the things I consider a prerequisite is installing video surveillance on each side of the vehicle I choose (most likely a cargo van). I hope you get cameras too. I've met people who are kind, and I've met people who are super rude. I try to be nice anyway. It's rare that I (verbally) put the mean ones in their place. I do understand the effect their negativity can have on my psyche. Especially if you have a number of bad experiences in a row. I admire how you seem to shake it off in time. Best wishes and safest travels to you Sarah!!!
I love Monument Valley. I had to see this place .I was so excited to be there, I .got out of my truck and there was a dog laying in the parking lot. I had to pat that. i missed mine so much, The dog got up and i noticed his leg was in really bad shape. I tried and tried to catch this dog .he needed a hospital. That leg needed to be amputated. dog was hit by a car 3 months earlier .I missed monument valley all together. i wasn't able to save the dog neither. I was balling my head off as i was leaving that place. That was a very sad day for me. I really need to get back there. I hope you're doing ok Jeepsy !
Beautiful pictures. My experience was similar but not as bad. I loved Valley of the Gods and also had high expectations for Monument Valley. Monument Valley was way too touristy for me. I'm glad I skipped camping there. Next time it's only Valley of the Gods for me - that place is Heaven and where lots of nice spirits live. :)
I was in Monument Valley last year this exact time in April 2022. It was a horrible experience, a 4 day storm ripped into the area and would not leave. I kid you not I could not see my neighbor's rv not 20 feet away it was that bad. Stuck inside my rv cause you couldn't even go outside for few minutes, sand gets in your eyes everywhere. I now always suggest to people to stay in Page Arizona instead. Just drive to Monument Valley from Page instead of staying there in Monument Valley. You can see pretty much everything in 1 day. If you want to see other nearby attractions then come back but staying in Monument Valley is not a good idea.
Hey! Thanks for the tips! Loved the video! I have a question for you. My wife and I are driving through Monument Valley this summer. We aren’t staying the night or have any accommodations, but is there a place to disconnect our travel trailer to do the scenic drive?
Liked your post. Dogs are a major problem on reservation, and even attack people and deaths of cattle, sheep, small dogs, and even running teens have been reported, but no action. Dog owners on reservation do not take responsibility also, and tourist regular feed these wild packs in small towns! Weather changes weekly, even tornados! Winter is harsh and the land is carved by this process. Valley of the Gods (Colorado) and Monument Valley are complete extremes on a scale for campers! I have cats and my own "pet cemetery" for the wild dog attacks mostly in the winter time!
Precious Heart people in general are going through so much negative energy right now on planet mother Gaia. And for your energy of one smile, may not be enough energy to deflect the 99 people that were in a bad mood and took it out on that waitress on that Waiter on that store person. I think sometimes we look to receive positive energy, when I believe the fact is we sent out that positive energy no matter what comes back to us. We are the light that shines away the darkness. We are the joy that shines away the sadness. We are the peace that shines away the war. Never let the outside world dictate to you how you should feel rather dictate to the world how you want to feel and then let everyone else enjoy your vibe if they're so open to receive it. Have an awesome journey and be safe.
I was here in August 1999 for the 10th Wed Anniv..... I could NOT believe as you pull into those HUGE sculptured red rocks the HUGE tourist trap buildings !! " lol "
Cest la vie. Meanwhile love the photos and music you used. And in case you forgot weather forecasts are estimates or predictions of what might occur😜🤣🏝️🥶.. Thankx Sarah. ✌️🤍🕊️
Some people just shouldn't be animal owners! Ignorance is bliss for many unfortunately. Glad you and little one were ok. It's unfortunate that some people just " don't get it". Lots of people in the world are very unhappy right now because we really are on the verge of a possible depression. Buisness owners must be suffering worse than others I guess.😢 But, just bless those poor unhappy people and let them go.!❤🌷🙏 I send positive thoughts and lots of protective white light ALL around you and yours!!!🌞🦋
Sarah, how will handle the extreme heat of the summer? Just a little worried about the little one. I'm sure you have planned for that. Our dogs are our babies.
@@goldfieldgary that's not a very high altitude in like july or August. Denver and Salt lake city can hit 100 and they are over a mile above sea level soooo......you really have to be over 8000 ft to escape heat.
I hope they got medical attention for their little one… glad your baby is ok…. My dogs are my life and that hurt little pup probably would have went with me knowing they probably wouldn’t miss it 😞
Sorry you had a bad experience there. I try to take a photo trip once a year to some place amazing. One year it was to the SW including Monument Valley which I enjoyed. But, the people weren't very friendly. If you are still there, make sure you go to the Forrest Gump pull over. Makes a great photo of the road leading into Monument Valley, And if you will be around Horseshoe Bend, you can park then walk up to the top and photograph the canyon below. The worst place for me that trip was Las Vegas.
Oh my goodness I’m so sorry … I can’t believe those people would be so thoughtless with their dogs. You were right to get out of there that place wasn’t safe. At least you got to stay at a KOA those are generally very nice to stay at.
🇺🇸im Native American, raised in NYC born in Arizona🏜️, but these days are of biblical proportion now. I'll leave it at that. If we talked openly we'd have very interesting notes to compare . ....it ain't you, and it is you, it's the World now, it's changing . . . ..Moses, Egypt & God Hebrews lead out, of captivity Exodus . . .. (it's the particulars)👍&🌎🇺🇸
So sorry you had such a bad time of it Suggest anyone with an experience of bad dog owners, report them, it certainly would be a difficult decision if they have your credit card information or personal information however. You are such a kind person I am sorry you had a horrid southwestern visit.
Sarah, as always you can't please everyone so just please yourself and enjoy your experience in your own way. Hope you get your refrigerator soon so you can continue your journey.
Oh My Goodness, that was crazy. I can honestly say that there are some people that don’t take care of their animals. I moved to Kayenta it’s atlease 20 miles from Monument Valley I was so miserable there I do have relatives there. I ended up moving to Phoenix and lived there for 10 years. I moved back to Minnesota a couple months ago I’m so so sorry you had bad experiences there. I feel you.
I’m sure you’ll balance this experience with a positive view, as now you have alerted others to the perils of what can happen when you go looking in them thar 12:32 😊far places.
Safe travels
By the way I love your videos.
Thank you!
@@wanderingjeepsy you are very welcome 🙏
@@LeftCoastCowgirl That escalated fast.
@@robbby4011 just some lessons if you wanted to learn. But again, I suggest a trip to Tribal land is not a good fit for you.
Gosh Sarah, what a bad experience that was. Some days are like that. My favorite motto for those times is "Shit Happens". Have to admit though this is one of the cutest videos I have seen.Girl you are living the life. Good days and good weather are coming. You go girl.
Sorry to hear that Sarah.
Hang in there.
Better day are coming for you and the Little One.
Safe travels!
Sorry to hear about the problems, things happen that you have no control over, grin and bear it, good luck😎😎⭐️⭐️🤩🤩
Wow, how crazy is that, staying in someone's backyard, and with all the noise they don't come out and check on you and try to do something with the dogs, and to be so cruel as to not care about the dog's well-being after hearing all the yelping. I hope everything will get be better for you after this experience,
Someone would have to be in a really deep dark place for your smile to not brighten their day! I like the new head wrap by the way. 😁
Sad but i have to agree. Enjoy Easter holiday 🙏
some people have no feelings. Im glad to hear you and your little dog are OK.
Hey you, keep your chin up, deep breaths, don't let the bastards grind you down, sending positive vibes from Wales ❤💛💚
If you define a good experience differently then you had one. You learned about a different culture. That's a good experience and you learned you really never know for sure about the weather ( probably already knew that but nice refresher).
You’ve really been through it lately, (and personally) I think you’ve handled it well. I hope you luck changes soon. 🙏🏼
Miss Sarah,
The decades and centuries of rain, and wind have formed Beautiful features few enjoy for their strength.
With Love and Respect Sarah, you are in my prayers
Hoka Hey
some days are better than others, like tomorrow will be the best day ever thank you ALL stay safe
I'm following Wonderhussy, and now I'm following you also.
I'm also a survivor of a suicide parent 38 years ago.
I love your spirit and your strength.
Things will look up,,,always bumps in the road,,but enjoy the rest of your journey with eyes wide open. Hug Lil One 💚
Aww man I’m sorry for your experience. Thanks for sharing your experiences good and bad.❤️
Hey Jeepsy, bummer to hear about the latest experiences. Some people are simply miserable and difficult if not emotionally draining to try to connect with. Keep your chin up, way more real and kindhearted folks out there. Warmer weather always a plus too. ✌️
Oh no! Now those were some rough times! It is beautiful! I loved actually seeing it in person!
@@lwood8491 Exactly, sounds like they're 24/7 guard dogs and not house pets!
Wow! ☹️
may i ask how u got kicked out ? were u able to take pictures/video at night ? And last, is their people watching you the whole time ?
As long as you're okay, everything's going to be alright! God bless you girl!
This was during Covid and it made for a lot of people anxious about visitors, etc.,
Be safe. If I lived on the rez, I would invite you to camp in my back yard for free. God bless you and keep you in Him.
I dig, you take care of you & your little one. You just keep smiling.
Beautiful video Jeep’s , I hope you are feeling better now that you are away from those animals out in the valley, human & 4 legged. Keep safe & stay happy Elaine from Queensland,Australia.
I gotta say this. You have the best, cutest, facial expressions! Your eyes do a lot of talking. I’m a big fan and love watching your videos.
Within the lyric is :
Hey child
Stay wilder, than the wind.😉
Little One would of been killed. Write a bad review & report them. Why are they allowed to have campers in their back yard? Crazy ..
Sounds like it can only get better from here on in. Hope your fridge comes soon.....and enjoy pampering yourself in the hotel while you have it.
Unfortunately these things happen, thank you for your honesty and sharing it.
Peace
I've heard that Utah can be standoffish from friends, who were Mormons but not native to Utah. They were glad to leave.
Sorry to hear this. Love you 💗 Stay Strong. Your a great person.
Wow I like trees. But that looked absolutely beautiful behind you. I think I’ll check that place out this Summer. Awesome pictures
Hang in there bless your heart!
Monument Valley is great scenery to travel through.
Sorry things didn't go so good , but you know crap happens maybe the next place will be better🙂
Thanks for keeping it real!
Sarah Im so sad that you experienced a bad couple days. Hope your new fridge arrives without delay and you can make track s to a new adventure.
❤ your authenticity and honesty.
Hey! Thanks for the tips! Loved the video! I have a question for you. My wife and I are driving through Monument Valley this summer. We aren’t staying the night or have any accommodations, but is there a place to disconnect our travel trailer to do the scenic drive?
The parking lot at the visitor center, I'm sure you could there
@@wanderingjeepsy thank you!!
I had similar experience in that area. Hope that peace and tranquility follows you in your travels. 😊
I adore Monument Valley. Nature's gonna do what nature does. We stayed at the KOA and loved our time there.
It's not all butterflies and rainbows. But life never is. You're tuff. You'll be fine.
" lol "
Hope it gets better!
Cest la vie. Meanwhile love the photos and music you used. And in case you forgot weather forecasts are estimates or predictions of what might occur😜🤣🏝️🥶.. Thankx Sarah.
✌️🤍🕊️
I was there last Friday. I even got on the horse and took a picture. We had a nice time.
Enjoyed your video! Monument Valley is one of my favorite places to photograph and video.
Sarah, how will handle the extreme heat of the summer? Just a little worried about the little one. I'm sure you have planned for that. Our dogs are our babies.
Extreme heat at 4800' elevation? That's where people go to escape the heat!
(it's the particulars)👍&🌎🇺🇸
Next time offer some gift to the Great Spirit. A little tobacco goes a long way. Hope you get back there and have a better time. Many blessings.
That’s fair. I had a bad experience in the Alabama Hills, but I don’t think people shouldn’t go.
I feel you.
Sarah next time you come back stay at the Recapture lodge it is in Bluff or stay in the yard ask for JIM .
I’m sure you’ll balance this experience with a positive view, as now you have alerted others to the perils of what can happen when you go looking in them thar 12:32 😊far places.
Love from Myrtle Beach @ChevyCoolLady
Hasn't changed much at all since John Ford filmed his Westerns there.
