I wanted to write after hearing Shania talking about her voice and other possibilities. I’m in a similar situation with my singing voice. Three years ago in the midst of the Covid crisis, I was diagnosed with AIH, Autoimmune Hepatitis, with secondary Stage IV Cirrhosis of the Liver and I have never imbibed any form of alcohol in my life. It’s really changed my life. I am now house-bound and sometimes bed-bound. I lost my license, my autonomy, and a lot of friends. I also have lost my voice. I’ve been singing since I was 6, and professionally since I was 13. I was at the top of my game when I became ill, and now my voice is shot. I don’t want another career, I say, in my tantrum. I too, write music, and I already have others singing my songs…and I sort of hate it. I want to sing my songs! I know I sound like a two-year old, but I’m devastated. Singing and song-writing and vocal arranging has been my life. I can’t imagine a future where I’m not completely saturated in music. It’s killing me, actually, ‘cause I want to sing. I want to sing my own songs. I don’t do anything else well. I’m a One-Trick pony. Well, I just needed to vent. Thanks for letting me do so.

I don't like the awkward touching....like between two close dear friends alright....but someone you hardly know, I just can't. I love Drew, but it's just too much for my anxiety.

Her face really isn't all that different if you look at side by side photos of now and then. The structure is almost exactly the same. She does have Lyme's disease though. Sure she's had filler clearly, but her face looks like she's aging gracefully and your face changes as you get older

Drew is so sweet. Like it’s weird seeing some people make it a big deal that she’s close to people or she touches them, but it’s coming from a good place. She’s trying to gain knowledge from various overcomers as well as allowing people to be honest and share their stories. She’s always so real. I love me some drew To me it shows me that there’s too many of you that lack the ability to show affection and love, so u have no other choice but to project that onto others
Shania pulled her hands away from Drew then slapped Drews boots to get away from that uncomfortable hand hold that lasted for eternity. Good cover up move! She didn’t wanna be rude.
Does anyone else just marvel at the gift Drew has as an interviewer? She’s totally present, which allows the other person to be totally present. THIS is what talk show interviews should be like.
