I first got into the show while on my first cruise trip from Princess Cruises back in February even though my mom and I watched it together on the last few nights of it in our stateroom on The Caribbean Princess. And since then after that, I’ve became hooked onto it by watching all episodes of it under my username through my mom’s account on the Paramount+ app on my iPad and now I have recently bought the digital version of the book that the late Gavin MacLeod (Captain Merrill Stubing) wrote about his life and it was published in 2013 on the Apple Books app in its store section, over the last nine years ago right before he died earlier last year prior to my trip the following year but I will get a chance to read it as soon as possible.

It's wonderful because on any given episode you'll see actors from the Golden Age of Hollywood -- we're talking Olivia Dehavalland, Vincent Price, Ann Miller, Luise Rainer, Shelley Winters, Gene Kelly, and Mickey Rooney.

The Captain seems to think he is a real Captain. It was make believe tv show. Probably wears that dumb hat everywhere he goes. The skipper on Gilligans always had the stupid hat on even after the show was cancelled. Imagine if Michael Keaton wore his Batman outfit on guest appearances. That would look silly.
