Erin, whatever you are doing, I have noticed your face getting skinnier and skinnier, now today, you are rock'n a skinny jean. You look terrific!!!! Merry Christmas !!!!
You are keeping it real...that's life! I'm so glad I'm not the only one who uses her kitchen table as a greenhouse! As a fellow potter, I admire your new pots. Nothing like handmade❤
Love the variety of content! Thank you for a great year of garden inspiration, education and puppy love! Happy Holidays! Ps…and your inspiration for any of us to say to ourselves, it’s ok if some years things just don’t get done…maybe that’s how our new traditions start.
I feel you. I’m looking at new lights and ornaments, which are still on our breakfast nook table, and not on the trees outside. It’s 8 degrees, so yeah. They’re a tomorrow problem.
Only 36 seconds into the video and I am all on board: My sons are 30 and 32 years old now and you better believe I Christmas shop for myself! Wakefield Handmade pottery looks like it's on my next year's list.
Love all your content no mater how many different things are done in one video. They all provide inspiration to do the things to add beauty to our spaces no matter what the weather and winter light conditions do to hinder us. Thank you!
Chaos is the general condition of my life and I'm retired and my children are grown! Today our arborist was here and we decided to trim some evergreens, including blue spruce. I now have a huge pile of boughs and you know what is going to happen to them as a result of all your inspiring winter decor videos! I need to make a trip to Home Depot for more lights....
Erin - great information as always. The amaryllis look amazing in those pots. I started geranium cuttings using cuttings that had blooms and have not had much root growth but the cutting are green and growing. Going to stick with it to see if I can get some good root growth. 🤞🏽
...not all of Peter's pots have attached saucers...check out out what he has in stock for other selections. (The problem will be finding something in stock, because he sells out frequently.) 🥴🤷🏼♀️👩🏼🌾💚 =^..^=
Hey Erin! You're looking great! I've always thought you're beautiful, from one female to another, but being healthy is good too. My weight is a work in progress. Good job!!!
I took my Geraniums, that I had grown from seed and pulled them out of their pots, shook of the dirt and put them in paper bags.(stapled bags shut) Hung the bags in my dark cool (but not freezing) tool shed. I just didn't have room for them in my greenhouse this year. Hope it works! Merry Christmas Erin and your family. Thank you for all of your fun and informative videos! 🌲
Erin, it made my day to see you sent out a video! I decided to over winter two pelargoniums this year so I wouldn’t have to buy them again. Now, thanks to you, I want to do some cuttings so I’ll have more. How long did it take for your cuttings to get to the point of repotting from the time you first took the cuttings? I need to get on it! I got a Magical Touch amaryllis for the first time this year - it’s looks about like yours and I am excited to see it bloom. I LOVE amaryllis, they are the ‘winter garden’ for me! Merry Christmas and thanks for the love you send into the world through your RUclips Channel!
It's all great! Yes, I love the ridiculously colored chartreuse squishy moss for topping pots, too. And i love fooling with pelargium cuttings as well. Interesting to see the difference in roots on ones with flowers and buds. Love everything you do!
Thanks for the easy lesson about rooting geraniums. I had BEAUTIFUL Bullseye Salmon geraniums grown from seed this year. And I could kick myself for not saving them or even cuttings! Oh well, I’ll grow from seed again and save them next year!
Beautiful amaryllis, beautiful kitchen, Beautiful table- how about a tarp or newspaper? Ive used my granite island for planting before. My worst is when i do it at a sink & get the planting medium near the drain. That cant be good. ❤. I cant forget- Beautiful Erin! Thank you for all your hard work. Merry Christmas dear one.
Merry Christmas Erin. I have never been the biggest fan of geraniums either, but this past year I grew from seed Pinto dark pink, and Pinto pink to white geraniums. They grew so well, so healthy, and so big and gorgeous. You might want to give them a try. Enjoy your holiday season. Your Nova Scotia friend Lorna.
Love all your videos and these have the personal touch to them! So nice to see the puppy hanging out with you too! You look fabulous!! Enjoy the holidays 🎄
Absolutely love your new Pots. I need them. 🤗 I love Geraniums but I can’t keep them alive. I’m in N.Dallas,Texas. Really enjoy you and your videos. Merry Christmas 🎄🤗
Merry Christmas to your Darwin and Dorthy from my Darwin! Happy to see that Darwin is helping with chores. Have a wonderful holiday and don’t sweat the chore list.
Erin, my dahlias were dug up ages ago and the tubers were perfect. I packed them up in layers of newspapers and in cardboard boxes and put them in the garage. But I am worried about dessication. Do you think it would be alright if put the cardboard boxes in garbage bags and then put a wet sponge in the garbage bag to sort of maintain humidity and keep them from shriveling any further? Also, I just repotted all my houseplants on the kitchen counter. Don't feel bad. It cleans up. And your channel and you are always wonderful. I just want you to know that. I wish I could give you a big hug. It's gonna be alright.
Are you noticing a bit of shriveling on them? If so, it's probably a good idea to introduce some moisture. I've never done anything like a sponge, but I have used a mister and misted the storage medium (not the tubers). Maybe try a bit of light misting on the newspapers first? I feel like dessication is easier to combat than rot, so you wouldn't want to overcorrect.
@@TheImpatientGardener Yes. I just checked on some and they seemed slightly more shrivel-y than last year and it is still a month earlier than when I checked them last year too. Our garage is really dry this year and it feels like the air is trying to suck the moisture right out of them. So, I want to introduce moisture but putting it directly on them freaks me out. Rot really sucks once it gets going so naturally I don't want it to get started at all. Writing this out made me think I am going to try a twofold approach: I think I am going to wrap them up in plastic wrap to keep their moisture in a bit better with some tiny cracks for aeration. And maybe just spritz some water droplets inside of the garbage bag. Whew! Dahlias. I love them, but storing them does seem like the trickiest part. But I did it successfully last year, I think I can do it again.
Love your videos Erin- tried to use the 10% off coupon at Wakefield Handmade Pots- didn't work but still ordered a pot from the site- such beautiful pottery- can't wait to pot up another amaryllis !
Love all of your videos, chaotic or not! :) Also, just want to say thank you for demonstrating up-potting in your kitchen, "dirt" and all! It's my husband's number one pet peeve when I bring in garden projects and throw soil all around my kitchen. Drives him crazy. I was so excited to show him that I am not the only one! Merry Christmas, Erin!
Merry Christmas!! You look great, Erin. In every video, you're slimmer than before. Winter videos tend to be a bit more here and there; so many little chores to be done. Those amaryllis are beautiful! ~ Lisa
Why not enjoy the best of both geranium worlds? Pot up most for the summer. But save a couple of bloomers for indoor winter interest. 🌸🌼🌸 Love your videos and how you keep it real.
I love a good chaos video. It shows what real gardening is any time of the year. I hope it's not too late to ask Santa for a garden helper like yours. I love your dogs.
THANK YOU for taking the time to take us along on this holiday season. Merry Christmas! Hope you get your tree up and enjoy. Love the planter and the new pots. Great color with the amaryllis.
Chaos or no chaos, it's all good! I always learn something from your videos. Thanks for taking us along. P.S. You're looking healthier than ever...good for you.👍 💚😊💚
Fun video. Most of us can relate to trying to do all the things all at once this time of year. The amaryllis pots are very pretty. I must look to see if your friend ships to Canada. I haven’t seen anything like those here and I absolutely love the colour and shape of yours. On another topic, may I ask about your top? It’s lovely and looks very comfy. Would you mind sharing where you bought it?
I enjoy random project days. It’s really how most days go for me. I love most the of the tops you had on in the video. Would you mind sharing links or where you purchased. I have a terrible time finding tops I love. Happy holidays.
Erin, love the chaos, sense of humor and everything else. You look amazing, you’re funny and joyful and your videos are always a treat. Wish you a Merry Happy Xmas and to Mrs Much More Patient, Dorothy, Darwin/Magnus and the rest of the gang. Hope to see you soon! 💚
OMG woman! Why yes, I do know the feeling LOL. As I said to hubby, "I'm just trying to roll with it" . Don't ask what "IT" is please . Here's something to hang your jingle bells on.."It started in low. Then it started to grow. But the sound wasn't sad! Why, this sound sounded merry! It couldn't be so! But it WAS merry! VERY! He stared down at Whoville! The Grinch popped his eyes! Then he shook! What he saw was a shocking surprise! Every Who down in Whoville, the tall and the small, Was singing! Without any presents at all! He HADN'T stopped Christmas from coming! IT CAME! Somehow or other, it came just the same! And the Grinch, with his grinch-feet ice-cold in the snow, Stood puzzling and puzzling: "How could it be so?" "It came with out ribbons! It came without tags!" "It came without packages, boxes or bags!" And he puzzled three hours, till his puzzler was sore. Then the Grinch thought of something he hadn't before! "Maybe Christmas," he thought, "doesn't come from a store." "Maybe Christmas...perhaps...means a little bit more!" And what happened then?"
Great info with laughs. Darwin helping carry the roping was great. That is a really pretty geranium and I can’t wait to see the mass planting next year. Merry Christmas!
Thanks for the pretty flower. You have reminded me of a couple of pots that are still outside - I live in SWWashington, zone 8b. I love pelogarnia. Is that a word?
I have missed several of your videos lately and have been trying to catch up. I notice also that you look thinner. You were looking good no matter what!!
I just finished all the shopping wrapping and decorating tonight and we're doing family dinner on the 21st. In beat and looking forward to a two week food coma lol.
My Amaryllis was finished a week ago already; a beautiful white one, that produced 2 super thick stems, each stem having 5 flowers on it! Amazing! Q:: I would love to save the bulb, and store, and re-use for next Christmas...how should I do this successfully?
Happy new years cookies, valentines, or just because! My nephew’s family does President Day card. Whatever and whenever, it is the thought that counts. Just don’t decide on May Day🤣
Thanks for the fun chaos video, and Happy Holidays 🎄(I now use your pronunciation of 'fatshedera' and the more common one interchangeablely, including with customers.)
I agree that pelargoniums are dead easy from cuttings. But I've also found they're surprisingly easy to grow from seed. The bonus is that the baby plants are completely adorable - - once they get their true leaves in a flat under lights, each plant has a few tiny, perfect round leaves, with colored "bullseyes", if it's that variety.
Do you ever bare root your geranium during the winter? I don't have the space to keep mine going so have them in a cool dark place with a short stem and roots. I am misting them about once a month and will pot them up in the late winter/ early spring.
Erin, whatever you are doing, I have noticed your face getting skinnier and skinnier, now today, you are rock'n a skinny jean. You look terrific!!!! Merry Christmas !!!!
I've noticed that too. She looks fantastic! I hope she shares her secret with us!
OMG. Don’t tell me you gave up wine girl!! Merry Christmas!
You are keeping it real...that's life! I'm so glad I'm not the only one who uses her kitchen table as a greenhouse! As a fellow potter, I admire your new pots. Nothing like handmade❤
I came here to say the same thing! Tell us your secret! You look amazing!
You are looking great! Yes tells us what you’re doing to look so good!!!
You are just so fun to hang out with! Loved the chaos! Happy holidays!
My favorite videos are the ones that start out “This video is going to be chaos”!! Thanks for the fun!
Love the variety of content! Thank you for a great year of garden inspiration, education and puppy love! Happy Holidays! Ps…and your inspiration for any of us to say to ourselves, it’s ok if some years things just don’t get done…maybe that’s how our new traditions start.

“We are not winning any prizes here…” 😂😂😂😂😂 I could not stop laughing 😂 I love it!
Don't beat yourself up about not being ready for Christmas! Just relax, enjoy yourself and please take care! We love your weird videos! lol
Just love the puppy helping in the garden 🐾
Only 36 seconds into the video and I am all on board: My sons are 30 and 32 years old now and you better believe I Christmas shop for myself! Wakefield Handmade pottery looks like it's on my next year's list.
I thought my kitchen island was for planting and starting seeds?! Merry Christmas!
Perfect vision coming together with the beautiful pots and amaryllis flanking the window!
I just love you. You are such a "real" person and your videos reflect that. Not chaos, just real❤
its fun to see someone else make a mess in their kitchen in the winter!!
Awesome video! You are not alone. Wishing I had taken cuttings now but hey there's always next year
Love the amaryllis containers, even the containers you moved them from! Also, chaos videos are fun! I only wish my chaos would be as much fun 😆
Feel better! Christmas will sort itself out, there’s likely nothing anyone truly needs, including cookies, so take care of yourself first.
Love all your content no mater how many different things are done in one video. They all provide inspiration to do the things to add beauty to our spaces no matter what the weather and winter light conditions do to hinder us. Thank you!

I love each of your videos. And the “chaotic” once are most fun . The garden “apprentice” is so cute! Merry Christmas to you and your family.
Erin, I loved the kaos!. Wish the Wakefield pots had detached saucers; I don't care for attached saucers. They sure are beautiful. Anyway, thumbs up!
I prefer the saucers unattached….
...not all of Peter's pots have attached saucers...check out out what he has in stock for other selections. (The problem will be finding something in stock, because he sells out frequently.)
🥴🤷🏼♀️👩🏼🌾💚 =^..^=
Hey Erin! You're looking great! I've always thought you're beautiful, from one female to another, but being healthy is good too. My weight is a work in progress. Good job!!!
This looks like a normal day in the life of a gardener🥰
Have a wonderful holiday and a healthy happy New Year!
Loved the chaos on your video today. Made me chuckle and reminded me of myself 😊
I took my Geraniums, that I had grown from seed and pulled them out of their pots, shook of the dirt and put them in paper bags.(stapled bags shut) Hung the bags in my dark cool (but not freezing) tool shed. On the kitchen table AND in a white sweater 😂👏👏
Of course! That’s the way we gardeners roll!
this is how we do it🎵🎵

As long as your Thanksgiving decorations are down and put away you're ahead of me!
Oh man, was I supposed to decorate for Thanksgiving? ;)
I love a good chaos! Your videos are always entertaining but I learn so much. Hope you have a Merry Christmas!
I usually do mine at the kitchen sink, you are in the perfect spot
Wow 12 different cookies - impressive! I do 9 and it’s quite a project - I certainly can’t imagine fitting in filming in between!
Love your videos Erin- tried to use the 10% off coupon at Wakefield Handmade Pots- didn't work but still ordered a pot from the site- such beautiful pottery- can't wait to pot up another amaryllis !

Loved every chaotic second of this!!!! And, you look FAB.
i bought that fatshadera plant because of you I love it-pray that I don't kill it signed brown thumb💓
Sometimes we just have to get it done, and done is better than perfect. Enjoyed your 'chaos'.
No matter what you post we will love it! Merry Christmas if we don't see you until after the holidays.
Great info with laughs. Darwin helping carry the roping was great. That is a really pretty geranium and I can’t wait to see the mass planting next year. Merry Christmas!
I love your chaos. Merry Christmas Erin!💚🎄🎅🏻
Loved the chaos 😂
Your videos are always entertaining and keeps me engaged
Thanks for the pretty flower. You have reminded me of a couple of pots that are still outside - I live in SWWashington, zone 8b. I love pelogarnia. Is that a word?
I loved the variety I this video. 😊
I am happy to get a new video; been checking every day. 😀. I don’t mind if it’s a bit random. Hope you have a great Christmas!
I have missed several of your videos lately and have been trying to catch up. I notice also that you look thinner. You were looking good no matter what!!
I agree with everyone! You look great! Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year 🎆
Love your videos! Two questions. Where did you get the hanging pots? Why the name change to Darwin?
Erin, you are amazing!! Love your videos. Keeping it real.❤❤❤
i appreciate your detail and planting , Great info and your skinny jeans look like you feel better ! thanks
Merry Christmas Erin to you and yours! Thank-you for all your good info throughout the years!
I enjoy your videos. they're actually relaxing to me, not chaos. Variety is nice. Recently heard of you thru Laura at Gardeb Answer.😊
Have never met a pelagonium that I didn’t like! ❤

Yay....boom! Free plants
I love the colour of that pelargonium aka geranium, so pretty !
I love the realness of your videos. If it takes several days, who cares?! It's realistic to our lives as well. I love that you keep it real with us.
New TIG tshirt - Call it Good.
Love everything you do. Merry Christmas!
Enjoy your holiday.
I’m with you I’m not a big fan of the geraniums either and I love transplanting on my kitchen counter❤❤😂😂
Erin, what are the pots you transplanted the amaryllis from? The new pots are really lovely, but I like the old ones!
Erin, honey, put down a garbage bag on your table and clean up would be sooo much easier :) Happy Holidays.
Merry Christmas 🎄
Ahhh the fat-shedara, my favourite 😂
Love,love love your videos!
My mom use to take them out of the dirt and hang them upside down in the basement.
Love your videos. Thanks! I think I've been noticing you losing weight (you did not need to) and hoping you are well!
Never ok to comment on people's weight.......
So Wonderful Video ❤❤❤❤
