YES, We do...and some of us even know a little more, can you BELIEVE IT?! 😳😳🙄🙄🤣🤣🤣 I "think" they're called double-stops...but I'll have to check my Suzuki book #5...😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣
I "play" violin (for about a week☺️) and have been concentrating on one string at a time, I may just take up fiddle as it seems much funner and looser. 👍🏻☺️🎻
@@charlottesmom Celtic fiddle is fun and loose without sounding like a neanderthal trying to saw through the strings with the bow like country fiddle does.
Fiddle es un estilo de violín; es el mismo instrumento pero la técnica es diferente, a como tengo entendido. Yo también he tenido esa confusión por un tiempo jajaja Espero haber aclarado dudas, saludos!
Yes. Both the violin and the fiddle name is the same, style is different, HOWEVER! There CAN be differences in the way the bridge (the curved wood piece where the strings rest upon) is shaped, as well as subtle changes to the instrument to assist in obtaining the fiddle sound...hope this helped
A violin has strings and a fiddle has straangs
This guy can beat Satan in a fiddle contest
Patchwork Proxy futurama was the shit
He would say, "well, you're pretty good, old son
But sit down in that chair right there
And let me show you how it's done"
just you wait till the devil goes back to Georgia
@@jewbearidk he already did
violin comes out of a 400$ velvet lined case and and fiddle comes out of a discarded gunny sack. Thanks for posting, it was awesome.
Yeah...ummm No. 🤣
My son is learning both styles. Violin at school and fiddle in private lessons.
Nothing makes you want to get up and dance more than a fiddle
I'm betting he has a preference.
@@Wolven6 6 years on and no preference.
I am curious. Does he play fiddle at school?
I didn't realize you were joking when you said the difference was subtle 😂 had me going there
For anyone wondering, he played orange blossom special
Behold, a man of culture
It's the Orange Blossom Special..........Bringin my Baby back!!!
a fiddle is just a violin that's had beer spilled on it
That was so subtle I could barely tell them apart....😂👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
That's a fiddle alright
Country fiddle sounds so different from Celtic fiddle. Celtic fiddlers know how to bow one string at a time.

The fiddle is basically the center of Western music.

Fiddle and violin is the same things...
Just different sound style
Gawd, the worst Mozart I've ever heard, intonation, wrong trills, wrong notes. How do you even make so many mistakes in so few seconds 😂😂😂
