OMG this video finally revealed why i spend hours with failures. Because the txt file contains "if you recieve this error "EBILOG:EXITBS:START" add below line: VBoxManage modifyvm “VBOXName ” --cpu-profile “Intel Core i7-6700K” "as solution. This was my problem all the time to run my ISO. Damn. No one else mentioned that. Thanks a lot And for anyone who have the same problem as me with commands give errors. Its an Clipboard copy issue. Better retype the whole comment with your own keyboard then copy&pasteing it! There are hidden spaces or other formatting issues which causes your commands to fail over CMD. And paste it command by command. Not all at one

Same pretty much... for some it is hit or miss.... i’m stuck at 99% and if it gets passed that, it tries to automatically update fails then stops showing me any startup disk.... i think just have to keep trying until it works it maybe find another installer
how long will it take to finish the command loading stage? just asking as last time i followed one of these "tutorials" the thing took more than 3 days before i gave up thinking it would get past the command loading stage,

It always freezes at installing 14 minutes left at like 99% finished and then if it ever does get past that it trys to update and fails and then says choose startup disk and nothing ever shows up... not sure where to go from here
so mine never gets the installation done. It just hangs with progress bar filled halfway and will not move past it. (this is after disk utilities is completed)

mine is so laggy, I tried changing from usb 3.0 to usb 2.0 and nothing changed, though I still can´t see what have the usb setting to do with the vm being slow....my bigsur only report 3 mb of Vram and I allocated 128 MB in virtualBox, I think that´s the problem but how can I solve it ? besides, I have no sound output nor input....bluetooth , wifi and else work well.

Careful how much hard drive you set the VM to! If your actual computer only has 8GB, you can’t set the VM to 8GB or you’ll get an error. (VirtualBox will go to guru mode)

Keep trying and make sure settings for mac vhd are set correctly, there are other settings not mentioned in this video.... i.e. increase video ram to 128mb, make sure cpu is set to at least 2, host i/o should also be selected under “storage” then click on sata controller and check the box.

Thanks for watching! Yes it does. When you delete the Big Sur image, you clear space in windows.

i would say, power down the system completely and start it up, see if it allows you to walk through the final steps

install the guest tool will help, you can also try install mutlibeast

try switching USB settings to 2.0 from 3.0
Is it slow for anyone else? It seems horribly slow even on an 11th gen i7 with 16GB mem. This isn't going to be usable.

you have to setup a proper model/serial number for virtual box, spoofing the VM to be an actual mac device when it’s not.

yea the timer is a lie, took me around 5 hrs to fully finish that.

this is a common issue with macOS, have you tried completely shutting down and rebooting the vm?

how much RAM do you have allocated to the VM? make sure you max out as much as you can
I have two issues right now after the install: The first is the display resolution size is stuck at 1024x768 and is really small. How can I change this to something like 4K (3840x2160)? The second issue I am having is there is zero audio. I've checked VirtualBox menu Devices and insured the Audio Output option is checked but I still hear nothing. Please assist, thanks!

You have to look for your computers specific hardware kext files for those functions if they don’t work out of the box.
I dont understand, I can't get past the first part of the verbose where it's greyed out. All i see is stuff about like "wake-failure"
Keep trying and make sure settings for mac vhd are set correctly, there are other settings not mentioned in this video.... i.e. increase video ram to 128mb, make sure cpu is set to at least 2, host i/o should also be selected under “storage” then click on sata controller and check the box.
