A court of silver flames is BY FAR my favorite of the series. It eas the only book by sjm that kept me hooked from the beginning till the end. It’s a lott more romance and character focused than the other books. You will connect so much with nesta it made me cry SO MUCH. Please read it!

Silver Flames was the only ACOTAR book I gave 5 stars, Nesta is an incredibly complicated an interesting character and reading her character arc was amazing. Mainly because I relate to her so much compared to anyone else. But you should 100% read it, it's a literal work of art 🥰

Silver Flames is my FAVORITE of the whole batch. I love love love Nesta's perspective and character development.
I personally don’t LOVE silver flames like a lot of other people do, but I definitely think it’s worth reading! It IS the fave for some people

Im so happy to not know that Rhysand is the love interest because the shock and happiness I felt was out of this world. And the satisfaction that the guy I rooted since ACOTAR got the girl!

A Court of Silver Flames is ABSOLUTELY the best book in the series! I hated Nesta throughout all the books, but now she’s my favorite character!

Omg the last one is sooo goood!! It’s a little different to get into at first but it’s so good - character development is phenomenal and a few new characters that are just so iconic!! Also Nesta and Cassian 💓

I slumped at the same point in the third book, and picked it back up the same way. And then I blasted through frost and starlight and now I’m on the last 100 pages of silver flames and it’s my favorite book of the whole series, it made it for me.

Your thoughts crack me up! I started ACOWAR earlier this year and in the first few chapters I said “I bet this is my favorite book of the whole series!” And then quickly it turned into a miserable experience that put me in a slump and I dreaded finishing 😂 the beginning of that book is so deceiving. I am currently now 6+ months later reading Silver Flames!
I completely understand you preferring ACOWAR. I think as a whole, I prefer Mist and Fury - but when I reflect on what my favourite parts of the series are, a big chunk of them are in Wings and Ruin. Like Cassian & Azriel landing on the ice, and the High-Lords meetings, and everything with Miryam, Drakon and Julian. Ugh I love!! Justice for ACOWAR!!

I'm so glad I'm not alone with how I felt about Tamlin! I was so upset Feyre was gonna end up with Rhysand, but honestly I felt so much better after finishing ACOMAF, his actions and behavior don't make up for being lonely and protective!! I'm also waiting for a possible vlog for the last book, I'm debating whether or not to read it!🤭
If you liked the full circle moment in ACOMAF with Feyre and Rhys you NEED to read Throne of Glass!! The first couple books are just okay but then it’s so phenomenal and things come full circle from book 1 in ways you couldn’t even imagine and it’s soooo epic! ❤
You HAVE to read ACOSF. It’s soooo good! The character building is amazing. I’m hoping Tamlin gets a redemption arc like Nesta because I feel the same way you do about him.

I haven’t read this series in over a year bc I wa sun a huge slump after the third book. But it’s finally time to read the final book & im so glad I watched this to kind of jog my memory about the series. :)

I literally just finished ACOSF today and wow, Nesta’s story is so worthwhile reading!! Her character development is amazing, i honestly couldn’t stand her for the first four books and wow I really like her now. She’s such a flawed character, but so so interesting! Cassian is also just the very best and the spice in that book is ✨✨✨✨ I think you’ll really like it, since we have veryy similar opinions on the rest of the books.

WhAT?!?!?!? YOU HAVE TO READ ACOSF!!!!!😮I felt the same way and was absolutely so intimidated by the size of the book! I paired this one with audiobook and it was a great experience and its my 2nd fav of the series. I also recommend the audio of acomaf its beautiful! ❤Also they have dramatized version of the audiobook. I’m excited for the tv series that they are working on but I’m scared because I don’t want to be disappointed! 😅Hope to see an acosf review/ series wrap up because id like to hear your thoughts! 😊

I really hope you read A Court of Silver Flames some day! I’ve heard other people say it is their favorite, it is in Nesta and Cassian’s point of views, but lots of stuff is happening still with the other characters! I will say it is harder to read than the first 3 books for me, even though I still am enjoying it

in truth, lucien was as much as a tamlin victim as feyre was, he was literally homeless/exiled/heartbroken before tamlin so it was hard for him to think rhysand was up FOR feyre and not playing her when he thought for 50 years that rhys was the enemyI think he literally thought he was doing the right thing 😢

I’m here to tell you the last one is life changing!!! You need to read it!ACOTAR, ACOMAF and ACOSF are my favourite books in the series so far. The last book has such a great character arc for Nesta and you get so much more depth and insight. Literally the best!

I’m reading the second one as well and I have the same opinion with it. I had high expectations and I just started part three and I also don’t have that wow feeling. It’s good but I loved the first. I know the last 100 pages are going to be good but I’m like where is the hype!

i read the first book back in 2015 and i remember being so upset at sara j mass bc i knew she was somehow going to turn tamlin into a villain type character so i never continued on with the series; but now i finally just read acomaf this year and i am currently reading acowar and feeling the exact same as you

I think that the second one is the best one because of the growth it shows of all the characters. I like how Feyre is able to fix herself, and how Rhysand fit in but he wasn't overwhelming like Tamlin was, and then the ending...OMG it was just plot twist after plot twist and I was definitely sitting there EATING THAT SHIT UPPPP!! I hated howI went from absolutely LOVING a character, to hating him (Tamlin), and how I went from really disliking, not so much hating, Rhysand to LOVING him. I think he's the better option, and this series give off Twilight, and Vampire Diaries vibes.

I sort of feel like after SJM wrote/delved more into Rowan's character in the throne of glass series, she fell in love with his type of character and decided to make Rhysand the main focus/love interest. It might've just felt so prominent to me because I read these books as they were released so I jumped from Heir of Fire to ACOTAR to Queen of Shadows to ACOMAF though. She easily could have planned the romance from the beginning but the way that Tamlin's character did a complete 180 in ACOMAF and was barely in the story just felt a bit messy to me lol, especially since the first book spent so much time building his character (+ it was a beauty and the beast retelling ft. Tamlin as the beast).

I hated Nesta and SF was definitely disappointing. When I first read it I gave it 4.5 stars just because the character development is good and I was happy to be back into the world, but looking back I’d change it to be 3.5. Will never be a Nesta lover, I can’t forgive her for what she’s done. That’s just me. When I reread the books I won’t read SF with it. Was just happy to see Feyre and Rhys again❤

as a huge acotar stan, i have still yet to read silver flames, I just don't mesh with nesta at all and i cant bring myself to read 800 pages just about a character i borderline hate lmao so I've now decided to wait until you read it and if you like it then ill read it cause i trust your opinion! ALSO I actually feel the exact same way about tamlin, like I get why we all hate him but I honestly did feel bad for him.

I would give a court of sliver flames a try, im still in the middle of it cuz its hard to wrap my head around nestas pov! Just because i love rhysand and feyres story so much! So its still hard for me to read it! But cassians pov is great so far
