Buying official versions is important but cheaper Chinese bootlegs are good quality too. People shouldn't be afraid. The ONLY reason why Chinese labels bootleg them is b/c Record labels from the U.S. & UK don't like releasing albums or boxsets there. Why ? Chinese labels want a bigger cut of the profits & fear they may manipulate the numbers & not give back the proper royalties.
You have to turn the music up loud to notice. I'm listening to Defenders of the faith right now and the originals sound better. Hard to describe with words, but the originals sound better. I have both cd sets and the all the vinyl pressings. Been listening to Priest since 1992.

its not full album set without jugulator and demolition....halford or not its still priest album... anyways priest ruleeee..im from same place as priest, midlands/black country....halfords house what he grew up in and still owns it to this day and goes xmas time is nxt road to where me mum lives...like 20 sec walk. will catch him ther eone day and get stuff signed.... peace..from bham/mids... uk
No, most of them sound downright awesome; they tend to be crystal clear sound wise. Only British Steel & Screaming for Vengeance sounded almost exactly like the early un-remastered ones, except that the non remastered ones are more quite.

Yeah I should know! Bought this on eBay for £50 and it was the bootleg! To be fair the quality is really good!
When I wanted to replace the one I sold, I bought two fakes before I finally got a legit box.

Those 2001 remasters are complete garbage, brickwalled and compressed to hell. Original masterings are far superior.
