Johnny is always a superb athlete and true artist. He is one with the music and the ice. Rare gem.
On a tiny black & white TV, I first saw Oleg & Ludmila Protopopov, way back when I was very young girl...(a former Russian pair skater who represented the Soviet Union). It was spiritual and moving and haven't really seen that level of skaters since...until Johnny Weir. I am obsessed with his talent and full package he brings to the ice like no other. Johnny is the Fred Astaire of skaters. His costumes were just perfection. I love watching JW's most intelligent commentary on TV, even better than Dick Buttons and all the rest that have come before him. Johnny and Tara make a fun afternoon to watch. Johnny is up there with my first obsession, Elvis Presley, then Sinatra and The Bee Gees, during the incredible disco era.
3:05 that move gives me chills every time! I'm so sad he retired from figure skating.
He retired from competative figure skating, but he still figure skates.

is it just me ,or does this remind anyone else of Agape? seriously, when I firs saw this I almost cried it was so beautiful. and I don't exaggerate. I actually got misty eyed
