Peter Frampton played at Pine Knob Music Theatre (now known as DTE Energy Music Theatre) in Detroit on July 17, 2000. This performance was part of his summer tour promoting his album Live in Detroit, which was later released as a live DVD, capturing his return to the iconic venue where he had played numerous times throughout his career.
Bob Mayo, the talented guitarist and keyboardist who frequently played with Peter Frampton, sadly passed away on February 23, 2004 while on tour with Frampton in Basel, Switzerland. Mayo was an integral part of Frampton's band and is particularly remembered for his contributions to the iconic Frampton Comes Alive! album, where his keyboard work and backing vocals were highly praised.
