1975 Flashback: QUEEN "Death On Two Legs" #1970smusic #queen
Death on Two Legs is a song by the British rock band Queen, written by their lead vocalist and pianist Freddie Mercury. It appears as the opening track on their fourth studio album, A Night at the Opera in1975. The song is one of Mercury's most scathing and direct lyrics, often believed to be directed at Queen’s former manager, Norman Sheffield, though no names are mentioned explicitly in the song.
"Death on Two Legs" is filled with angry, vengeful lyrics, expressing Mercury’s feelings of betrayal and frustration. The song paints the subject as a manipulative and parasitic individual. Even though Queen never confirmed the identity, Sheffield sued the band for defamation but settled out of ...

Jimi Hendrix's Only Top 20 Hit Song? #electricguitar #guitarist
Simple wondefull.
Queen one of the best rock bands that ever performed, and Freddie was possibly the best front man ever
Flashback for sure! Still get a kick out of thinking about how we had the phones on the wall!
What a great performer! So sad to hear of his diagnosis of inclusion body myositis.
Yea, it's kind of sad. He's on his final tour, and he has to sit in a chair now while he performs, but the man remains to keep that great attitude he has always had. Anyways, we wish him all the best and send him all the Love. 😎
😅
Bob mayoさんがいるーー☆
Such a fantastic guitarist this song is part of the soundtrack of my life I was a teenager when this came out !! Play it Peter !!
This is in Clarkston MI, not Detroit.
I know, I don't think any big bands have actually played in Detroit since Cobo or Joe Louis. But if you go to most well known artist's website and check their tour list it will indicate "Detroit" (playing in "Clarkston"). Although this was recorded and filmed at DTE in Clarkston at the time, the name of the album and DVD it ended up on is "Live in Detroit". And, Frampton didn't yell out "Hey Clarkston" to us fans, it was "Hey Detroit" LOL (I was actually there, seen him there 3 times) Thank you for watching!
Muito som, Peter Frampton toca muita guitarra. Show !!!

The Fondue Pot 😄
Haven's was a rhythm Monster on acoustic Buckley, what a talent, gone too soon before he even showed all he was capable of, Joni Mitchell, one of the most underrated guitar players , period! Clapton watching her play for an afternoon for the first time was mesmerized with her unique style and multiple tunings. Later on his way home thought about quitting the guitar as he realized how little he knew. That itself is insane! All these players are special that were listed. Each gave us some fantastic memories via their songs
Nice insight. Thank you for watching!
I was gonna be sad, then angry if havens wasn’t there 😂
Complete with the authentic, genuine 1974 "Avocado" kitchen tones, and tube socks. The "wall phone" was considered a great domestic innovation in 1974.
WONDERFUL MEMORIES OF A TIME GONE...
thanks for the nod to tim buckley
Of course! Thank you for watching!
When is it from? When is Steven's voice good? 😊🤘
Wow! He still looks and sounds the same way since I was in the fifth grade 1975, Amazing! Amazing Performer. ❤❤ His Music 🎵 🎶

I do remember it! You can find the cartoons on RUclips. Thanks for watching!
To clarify, do I understand correctly that this clip is from approximately 24 years ago?
Yes Sir! My x-wife and I were actually there, July of 2000! Time flies!
@@guitaricons Awesome!
Great Jam!
Es el hombre mas perfecto que he conocido❤
Thank you for watching!
He's still just the same as ever, just like the good old days in the '70's! I have liked him ever since the 1976 concert! I didnt get to go to it, but I used to like to hear his music, and I looked at the left over concert picture poster of him, that was a souvenir.
Yes sir, just the hairs shorter! LOL...we have the encore version coming out tomorrow (10/03/24) at 6:45 EST...he's playing "I Don't Need No Doctor" from when he was in Humble Pie. It's really a good performance. Keep an eye out for it, and thanks for watching! (let us know what you think if you watch it, it's one of my personal favorites) Thanks again! 😃
I totally agree! He still looks the same way, Amazing! And an Amazing Performer. Love His Music since the fifth grade 1975.
@@josephvasquez487 His voice hasn't changed a bit either!

I knew 6 . Didn't know the 2nd one
Thank you for watching!
What about Duane Eddy and James Burton
They're all on the list. Can't get them all in one 60 sec. short. Keep an eye out! Thank you for watching!😄
Still same dance moves as he did in '75
👍🤣👍🤣 Exactly
He left out the late great Carl Perkins who was a better guitar player than Scotty Moore or Buddy Holly.
Can't cover'em all in less than 60 secs. He's on the list though! Thanks for watching!
So glad you didn't say "Cher"!😅
No, (LOL) we used the photo because we thought it had a classic, cool look and feel of 1950s rock & roll. Thank you for watching!
saw them in concert March 1986 at Philly spectrum
Why you showing a picture of Cher? She don't play guitar and has nothing to do with the 50's.
I chose it because of the 50s "ish" rugged rock&roll kind of look to the photo...and to attract immediate attention. Thx 4 noticing and watching!
What about Sister Rosette Thorpe?
She'll be in one when we design one for women of that era. Keep an eye out. Thx 4 watching!😃
I was proud of myself, knowing who is who until I had to admit, I forgot about Chuck Berry
Chuck Berry!? Doe! LOL!!!🤣😆 Thx 4 watching!
"didn't it rain" Sister Rosette Tharp
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤😂🎉😮😅😅😅😅
I knew buddy holly from that one wheezer song…
