I am living for the Bangchan vocal appreciation. I swear I don't hear enough Stays talking about that. It's understandable that people would focus so much on him being the amazing leader he is, but I absolutely looove his voice. Also, he is so stable singing live, hitting every note he needs to and constantly doing ad libs to spice up the performances. The man is the ultimate all rounder. It is amazing that he is such a good rapper, dancer, phenomenal Producer and obviously, great at picking talent. I mean damn, a teenager (then) put together a team that would become a million seller, multiple award winning group?? You can watch the process through their “song camp” videos on RUclips, the songs were then put into the noeasy album. The members also came up with the video concepts and ideas. Would recommend you watch, even in your own time, to truly see the process each song went through!

Silent cry is such a nice comfort song and a lot of us think it's a response from the members to the song secret secret(which is written by han he wrote it two years ago after coming back from a break bc of his social anxiety) it references the trying to hide your sadness and loneliness always putting on a smile despite breaking down inside that is mentioned in secret secret. I really love your reactions your voice tone is also really nice I hope you can continue with them ^^
I loved how you zoned in on just how good sonically Red Lights is, how beautiful both of their voices are on it. Myself, and a lot of Stays tend to gush over the sexiness of the video, but honestly this is one of my favourites because Chan and Hyunjin's voices on this are sublime. I love the beat Chan produced (based on the guitar melody from his childhood friend), and then the lyrics and their ability to convey that very sexy R&B vibe, but equally Hyunjin's other intent of discussing compulsion/obsession as it regards their work. For a group that has done darn near every genre, it was stylistically such a departure for them and the only thing I want is for a Straykids song (with all members) in this style.
When you talked about Bang Chan's nose and lips being attractive and asking if you noticing was weird, I felt seen. I tend to be attracted to interesting/unique features. Nice to know I'm not alone.

In Stray Kids, they always talk about moral value, encouragement to do something better. There is always a beautiful message in every song they wrote and sing. That's the reason why I am a STAY. They not always talk about love or relationship in their song. But when they talk about it in their song, it just simple, pure and genuine feeling. They did not overusing it and that's really cool. Levanter is about a relationship (not necessarily romantic) you use to treasure, but no longer works. It talks about how they want to hold on even though they know it's time to let go, and once they finally do let go, everything starts getting better. It's an amazing song and really makes me emotional since they made a song that is so beautiful and serves as such great comfort. It just feels like a reminder of "if you let go of the things that aren't good for you, it's going to get better" Edit: it's personally my favorite skz song, they just made it really embody the feeling of letting go.
I love how SKZ controls their own music, they can make their rappers the Center of a dance (like Scars) and their dancers rap (Hellevator). Their main rap line produces and composes their music. Even Hyunjin who is a main dancer) has taken on more and more writing and production roles. That just doesn’t happen in Kpop as a whole. You don’t shuffle members in and out of roles. I.N rapping in Christmas Evel. All of them singing in Winter Falls and 24 to 25. They are the most well rounded group out there imo

Hyunjin actually had no training in anything when he started out. He got streetcast for his visuals and so many people told him he didn't have to work hard because he was handsome that it actually ended up making him work extra hard.
Hyunjin was found just bc of his looks. He didn't have any talent he just worked so hard to be recognized for his abilities instead of just his looks, so Im sure he'd feel so appreciative that you think he was like born with it 😂

I've been enjoying your reactions a lot and how you always go deeper into the meanings of the song! Levanter's concept is more like a finding yourself song but also skz writes the lyrics talking abt letting go of their past selves to reach their goal. This might be a little complicated to explain bc you've just started to get into skz but they hv a whole storyline within their mv's and trailers- stays still hv no idea how they thought up of the storyline of clones of themselves being trapped within 2 universes and trying to find their way back to their city and home Miroh. I actually sat down w my friend for 3 hours and watched everything that was relevant and we were both left speechless bc of the complexity of each album and how they all lead back to one another!

Stray Kids have SKZ-PLAYERS and SKZ-RECORDS on their RUclips which sound similar to that SM(?) Station you mentioned. The members do little solo or duet projects there. HAN does a ton of stuff on PLAYERS/RECORDS. :) I agree with you about the message. One of the main reasons I'm a Stay is because the majority of their music is about finding yourself, mental health, and trying to understand the world. Those messages really resonate with me.
fun fact: Hyunjin had explained in a Vlive one time that while making final edits to this song, Chan accidentally deleted his recording singing “geol”, so he just replaced it with Hyunjin’s recording of it. :D When listening to it, you can hear that Chan has an aggressive/raspy tone to his singing then it just switches to a real soft tone. On the Stray Kids RUclips page they literally have a playlist with all of their MVs and Performance Videos (basically they MVs without the budget and focused on the choreography) Anyway, there's almost 70 of them and they are well known for making visual content for the majority of their tracks. They are even I'm order. From top to bottom they go from newest to oldest. The only things not included there are the live performance stages (which if you want some great ones you gotta check out their official Japanese RUclips channel. They have several really amazing ones.) And of course their dance practices, which of course also have their own playlist on their page, definitely something to watch is you enjoy their choreography. Stray kids have some songs that are only uploaded to their youtube channen, these are called SKZ-records and SKZ-players (the difference is that skz-record is just the recording of their song or it can also be a cover, skz-players have videos too). But later tis year they’ll make those songs into an actual album. Some of these songs are really really good. I wanna recommend: maknae on top (by IN feat. Chan and Changbin) Drive (by Chan and Lee Know) but it’s really important to watch it with subtitles Streetlight (by Changbin) Little star (by Hyunjin). Little star is a song he wrote to his little puppy he lost when he was younger. He’s singing in that song so I really recommend it.

When you were reacting to Red Lights I related SO MUCH, because I KNOW RIGHT?!?!? Hyunjin's singing voice truly is beautiful, you'll catch me listening to his little singing verses over and over because his voice is just so? beautiful? I recommend Little Star SKZ-Player, which he wrote and sings entirely, as well as his psycho collab stage (with other 2000 liner idols) where you can listen to his BEAUTIFUL head voice!! All Stray Kids rappers sing AMAZINGLY and then there's the vocalists which you can catch them rapping and they're SO GOOD too! It's funny how we stopped mentioning positions because all of them can do everything. Yes, they have their focuses and the positions they are best at, but that doesn't mean they can't do the other positions just as well! It just proves how much of all-rounders all eight members of Stray Kids are.

Silent cry is such a nice comfort song and a lot of us think it's a response from the members to the song secret secret(which is written by han he wrote it two years ago after coming back from a break bc of his social anxiety) it references the trying to hide your sadness and loneliness always putting on a smile despite breaking down inside that is mentioned in secret secret. I really love your reactions your voice tone is also really nice I hope you can continue with them ^^

I loved how you zoned in on just how good sonically Red Lights is, how beautiful both of their voices are on it. Myself, and a lot of Stays tend to gush over the sexiness of the video, but honestly this is one of my favourites because Chan and Hyunjin's voices on this are sublime. I love the beat Chan produced (based on the guitar melody from his childhood friend), and then the lyrics and their ability to convey that very sexy R&B vibe, but equally Hyunjin's other intent of discussing compulsion/obsession as it regards their work. For a group that has done darn near every genre, it was stylistically such a departure for them and the only thing I want is for a Straykids song (with all members) in this style.
When you talked about Bang Chan's nose and lips being attractive and asking if you noticing was weird, I felt seen. I tend to be attracted to interesting/unique features. Nice to know I'm not alone.
Stray Kids are good lyricist. That's what pulled me into them.. Their music talks more about the reality of life. Please look forward to their B-sides. It's the best.
Personaly for me Chris Bang (along with Seungmin) is the most handsome stary kid. Danceracha is gorgeous and I.N, Han, Binnie and Bang Chan are incredibly cute.
In Stray Kids, they always talk about moral value, encouragement to do something better. There is always a beautiful message in every song they wrote and sing. That's the reason why I am a STAY. They not always talk about love or relationship in their song. But when they talk about it in their song, it just simple, pure and genuine feeling. They did not overusing it and that's really cool. Levanter is about a relationship (not necessarily romantic) you use to treasure, but no longer works. It talks about how they want to hold on even though they know it's time to let go, and once they finally do let go, everything starts getting better.
It's an amazing song and really makes me emotional since they made a song that is so beautiful and serves as such great comfort. It just feels like a reminder of "if you let go of the things that aren't good for you, it's going to get better"

I love how SKZ controls their own music, they can make their rappers the Center of a dance (like Scars) and their dancers rap (Hellevator). Their main rap line produces and composes their music. Even Hyunjin who is a main dancer) has taken on more and more writing and production roles. That just doesn’t happen in Kpop as a whole. You don’t shuffle members in and out of roles. I.N rapping in Christmas Evel. All of them singing in Winter Falls and 24 to 25. They are the most well rounded group out there imo

i think the best thing about stray kids' songs is that their lyrics can be easily molded to fit anyone's personal interpretation. your thoughts about Levanter's lyrics are absolutely valid! it can be about getting rid of a toxic person in your life, of your old self, of a past identity... that's the beauty of their songs: each one can have multiple different meanings, you just have to choose which one reasonates with you the most.

Actually, Stray Kids has VERY FEW love songs/break-up songs, and the one's that are, are mostly from their last album (no easy) +mixtapes, but especially in their first two years, they've written a lot of songs about finding their identity and problems that they may face while growing up

Hyunjin actually had no training in anything when he started out. He got streetcast for his visuals and so many people told him he didn't have to work hard because he was handsome that it actually ended up making him work extra hard.

i'm extremely biased but seriously jisung is one hell of a vocalist, even more when you learn that he's one of stray kids main rapper (alongside with changbin). and i'm so happy that i discovered your videos and that you've been paying attention to him since your first reaction. he's so so so talented is actually insane. his vocal range is ridiculous and he's such a good composer, so sentimental, so sweet, so thoughtful. he's an AMAZING rapper i can't even describe how amazing he sounds when he raps. it's so effortless, you know? like it's natural to him, like he's breathing, and i don't mean that in a bad way (never). it's just natural to him. he also plays the guitar and it's the cutest thing ever. he's very goofy too and funny, he makes the boys laugh a lot. anyways sorry for the rant i'm just really happy that you noticed him bc he's usually not the first one that gets people's attention, so i'm really happy =)

I've been enjoying your reactions a lot and how you always go deeper into the meanings of the song! Levanter's concept is more like a finding yourself song but also skz writes the lyrics talking abt letting go of their past selves to reach their goal. This might be a little complicated to explain bc you've just started to get into skz but they hv a whole storyline within their mv's and trailers- stays still hv no idea how they thought up of the storyline of clones of themselves being trapped within 2 universes and trying to find their way back to their city and home Miroh. I actually sat down w my friend for 3 hours and watched everything that was relevant and we were both left speechless bc of the complexity of each album and how they all lead back to one another!

I agree with you about the message. One of the main reasons I'm a Stay is because the majority of their music is about finding yourself, mental health, and trying to understand the world. Those messages really resonate with me.
fun fact: Hyunjin had explained in a Vlive one time that while making final edits to this song, Chan accidentally deleted his recording singing “geol”, so he just replaced it with Hyunjin’s recording of it. :D When listening to it, you can hear that Chan has an aggressive/raspy tone to his singing then it just switches to a real soft tone.

On the Stray Kids RUclips page they literally have a playlist with all of their MVs and Performance Videos (basically they MVs without the budget and focused on the choreography) Anyway, there's almost 70 of them and they are well known for making visual content for the majority of their tracks. They are even I'm order. From top to bottom they go from newest to oldest. The only things not included there are the live performance stages (which if you want some great ones you gotta check out their official Japanese RUclips channel. They have several really amazing ones.) And of course their dance practices, which of course also have their own playlist on their page, definitely something to watch is you enjoy their choreography. Maybe that will help with your finding what you're are looking for. 🖤🖤
Stray kids have some songs that are only uploaded to their youtube channen, these are called SKZ-records and SKZ-players (the difference is that skz-record is just the recording of their song or it can also be a cover, skz-players have videos too). But later tis year they’ll make those songs into an actual album.

The thing with Hyunjin’s voice, he belongs on a smooth R&B track because he just glides and winds around a beat while making you feel warm. But also he’s a very explosive rapper and could go in between both tonal shifts and maintain a rhythm on the beat. Never ending Story is something very precious to me too! When you were reacting to Red Lights I related SO MUCH, because I KNOW RIGHT?!?!? Hyunjin's singing voice truly is beautiful, you'll catch me listening to his little singing verses over and over because his voice is just so? beautiful? I recommend Little Star SKZ-Player, which he wrote and sings entirely, as well as his psycho collab stage (with other 2000 liner idols) where you can listen to his BEAUTIFUL head voice!!
All Stray Kids rappers sing AMAZINGLY and then there's the vocalists which you can catch them rapping and they're SO GOOD too! It's funny how we stopped mentioning positions because all of them can do everything. Yes, they have their focuses and the positions they are best at, but that doesn't mean they can't do the other positions just as well! It just proves how much of all-rounders all eight members of Stray Kids are.
