  • On Wednesday, August 31, 2022 I went and saw the final show on The Rockzilla Tour featuring Papa Roach, Falling In Reverse, Hollywood Undead, and Bad Wolves. I went in wondering to myself if Falling In Reverse was really just gonna be "The Ronnie Radke Show", and came out with a completely different outlook on the band.

Falling In Reverse is in the top 3 best bands I've seen live. Seen them like 3 or 4 times, and every time it was just amazing. Ronnie's stage presence is on point, and the crowd singing along just gets you hyped up more. Highly recommend seeing them.

I’ve never once missed a Falling in Reverse show, and it’s BECAUSE of how amazing they are live and the energy they bring is EVERYTHING. If they don’t come to my state, I ALWAYS make the travel to see them out of state. It’s always worth it. A falling in reverse show is like a big party with friends and family. EVERYONE in the building, including the band, is just one big family that falling in reverse brings together every show. Truly they are one of the best live bands.

    • @lovablie

And may I say, Ronnie’s songs are NOT easy vocally. Even the more chill songs are very hard to perform, and it’s because of how strong Ronnie’s voice and charisma is. So seeing him and the band be able to perform them live and do it even better than the studio version most times is so so impressive.

You are very good at painting a picture of what you see/feel. I also think Ronnie Radke has gotten a lot of hassle from people from people who just didnt/dont like him. Most has been totally unfair. Through out the years he has remained true to himself as a person(which he has every right to) and has put his mistakes out there ,learned from them and went out of his way to tell everyone in hopes of some one else maybe learning from his life experience. He does reactions on reaction videos of his music, which is genius in itself, but also creates more views for the creators(kind of giving back, or sharing his success with others). He streams while playing video games with random people, I mean like yea he's really such a "bad' guy~ right! Him bringing all these genre's together(bringing PEOPLE together) and his music just sounding so good will make him be loved forever. Ronnie Radke is a fukin POWER HOUSE! Thank you for doing this video, I love hearing Falling In Reverse and Ronnie Radke getting the respect they deserve!

The whole band is great at harmonizing with Ronnie and Tyler is amazing and such an awesome complement to Ronnie's voice. I think the reason for the Ronnie chant honestly goes back to him being in jail after ETF and then coming back into the scene in a big way with FIR. People were excited for him and so it was lets chant for Ronnie and his return vs saying the bands name. I have never missed an FIR tour and can say Ronnie seems very meticulous when it comes to all the technical stuff. I feel like having everyone on the same page is like a must for him and his whole crew. He has always stopped shows if he saw something bad happening. Definitely an outstanding frontman and amazing band to see live. glad you had a great time, man.

I seem to have the unpopular opinion about INK.. I love their studio recordings but I think they’re extremely overrated and quite frankly, a disappointment live. I get having backing vocals or layering vocals but the way the sound is mixed at all 5 shows I’ve seen them at makes it a noisy mess for the majority of every song because 3 people screaming a line that was meant to be one person with some layered vocals back further in the mix makes it intolerable to try to listen to a full set. I like to actually hear each word, and be able to pick apart everyone’s voices from each other. It could just be that I’m a vocal nerd so I’m pickier than most. Not sure! Either way. I love INK but I’ll stick to their studio recordings unless their supporting acts draw me in

I loved hearing your thoughts about the show.
I've been a fan of all four bands for a while but that was my first time seeing all of them live. Amazing doesn't begin to describe how they all were, and they all had some great crowd engagement moments.
The ultimate highlight of the night for me was "Voices in My Head." The day that song dropped was a rough day at work for me, so, when I got home and saw that four-hours old video on RUclips, I was beyond happy and watched it too many times to count. And it sounded fantastic live and got most of the people sitting around me up on their feet (I still don't know why so many people around me remained sitting for most of the entire concert).

Glad to know that Ronnie has "grown up" a little. Is he egotistical, fuckyeah he is. Is he a self-imposed spectacle, yes of course he is. Is he deserving of the popularity, YES! He seems to now be really appreciative of his audience and his band members, more so than even just a couple of years ago.
He's in his prime (after nearly 20 years performing) and I think we can expect a lot more great music from The Beef Castle in the future.

But when I saw them live, I was hooked. They are one of those bands that are so much better live than in studio. They need to be experienced.

(I remember going to a Paradise Lost gig in London years back where the sound was dreadful yet I had an amazing time because of the atmosphere and love for the bands I saw).
I really hope Ronnie gets to see and records a reaction to this, so he knows how much we love him and the band, and really recognise their talents.

Loved hearing it. Every detail. I'm a little past my Prime and unfortunately my concert-going days pretty much passed me. Not that I wouldn't be willing but I've got hip problems and other issues that would make it difficult. BUT.. my heart is there. A couple three years ago I decided to start trying to listen to the newer music that I'd missed along the way during my Prime work years. A lot of it was motivated by realizing all my old high school friends on Facebook for all posting the same music we all listen to and high School...70s 80s. Thanks for the internet youtube and such I have accessed all the music and have made my way through grunge alt-rock and then member of other just incredible things that I would have missed otherwise. In about the last four months I've discovered the reaction videos and in that has led me to falling in reverse and Ronnie radke. It makes me want to jump and yell and sing along. I have wondered how they really were on stage live. Thank you for the gift of your story about your experience. Second-best actually being there.

They are one of the best live bands around and I don’t mean just in their genre I mean out of all rock bands out there. It’s very impressive for a band to have it all live like they do! They do have some pretty fast and technical hard to play songs (yeah I know not every song is hard) and everyone plays their parts super tightly, Ronnie’s vocals are just absolutely amazing, the other members sound great doing back ups & harmonies, the guitar tones are great, bass sounds great, drums sound great, the mix is great you can hear everything. IMO the reason why the shows are so great is because Ronnie is a perfectionist and because it’s really his band so he has control and demands perfection he really cares about being the best as possible. What’s also crazy is that he’s 20 years into his career and is still writing the best music of his career.

I went on the rockzilla tour too and it was my first concert ever. I'm a huge fan of falling in reverse and Ronnie so I wanted my first concert to be them. I'm only 15 and I plan to go to more falling in reverse concerts for the rest of my life. It was a phenomenal experience. One I'll never forget. This is by far my favorite video I've ever seen of Falling in reverse ratings. You explained everything so good. I'll forever be a fan of Ronnie and falling in reverse. FIR forever!!! ❤️

I was at that show too! Travelled all the way from Virginia to see them for the first time. It was also my first time seeing bad wolves and Hollywood undead and my second time seeing papa roach. What’s funny is I wasn’t a huge fan of Hollywood undead’s newer stuff but their show live made me a fan. Also, it was raised by wolves that Ronnie stopped. I remember him saying that they’d start it again because he knew there were hardcore fans in the crowd that wanted to hear it. Papa roach’s set was great. I loved that they did a live one take music video for No Apologies. That’s an experience I’ll never forget.

I remember going to see the Nashville Knights back in the early 90s growing up. Before Bridgestone was built and the Predators were a team, hockey still had a scene in Nashville. I'm from Mt Juilet over in Wilson County. Much love from Louisiana

I saw falling in reverse for the first time this February with disturbed. Fantastic show. Fir did not disappoint! We took my 13 year old metal head son, it was his first arena show. He made the experience even better. I agree with you they are a must see band. Next time they tour I’m seeing them again.

I saw the title and clicked it. Didn't know it was about the show I was at. Hollywood Undead surprised the hell out of me. Had the most fun during Papa Roach set because of the pit and a wall of death. Cannot believe Papa roach had one. Blew mind

I’m jealous 😔 I have watched them in a lot of live clips on you tube. The bass players vocals are so good. Every one of them just really brought their A game. Of course Ronnie killed his performance as well 😁 love that you reacted to the concert

I just saw them for the first time in February in Youngstown, Ohio! I put up the whole concert in 1 video each, got there a little late but got most of Hollywood Undead, all of Papa Roach and there always fantastic and all of Falling In Reverse but I gotta say, you know the energy you feel for a band swell and you feel that energy in the crowd, well that is what I felt, the energy for Falling In Reverse was tangible then Papa Roach came out and the energy was great for them and there always amazing but with all that said Falling In Reverse had all the excitement and energy with them, you know when you know! We missed Escape The Fate but I saw some footage of them later from this concert and there good but you can see without Ronnie it’s not the same, he has amazing stage presence and his voice is incredible! I enjoyed your review! Falling In Reverse was beyond fantastic, I can’t wait to see them again🤟🎶🥰🔥By the way the Just Like You was one of my favorites during the whole set, Ronnie was so damn entertaining and the whole band is just incredible! The whole show was great music 🎶 I had the best time at this show, loved it!
