A bolter is when a aircraft lands on the carrier, but it fails to catch a arresting cable. Meaning that the aircraft must try again. A hard land is pretty self explanatory. You landed hard onto the deck. A hard trap is when you land into a net.

We recorded alltogether likely between 50.000 and 100.000 voice lines, out of which 11.000 made it into the Tomcat. (I give such a vague number, because it is hard to tell from memory, but usually we would record say 100 variations x 10, so a thousand and then pick the best 100, but at times it was way more and at times way less, so between 50k and 100k seems in the very rough ballpark for me. It took more than 2 full years recording and cutting everything. 🙂
