Floor wrote a song about PTSD: 'Invincible'. This song would be sung by her at the opening of The Invictus Games which were going to be held in The Netherlands, but were cancelled due to the Covid situation. The song would get very personal for her later when she was diagnosed with breast cancer. Luckily it was in an early stage, so only a minor operation was necessary. It is now part of her solo album 'Paragon' which can be described with one word: empowerment.
She also sang a song for the Dutch Warchild organization called "De beelden blijven" (The pictures remain). There are two versions one with Dutch lyrics and one with English lyrics about children in war zones.
@@MrsRealistic you must react to 1916...............this song was writen and performed by Motörhead/Lemmy..........and the cover from Sabaton is an absolutley banger and tears pushing

You could call this a test of humanity. They are absolutely unparalled in what they do. Joakim (vocals) and Par (Bass) are the hart and soul of this band. They went through a complete renewal of the line-up because the rest at the time did'nt want to go all in, they did and managed to reach a very special place in the heart of many many fans. How they approach the history of war is unique. They don't glorify war, they don't choose sides, but they highlight the humanity of soldiers, the depth of their courage and sacrifice. They make you proud of soldiers of many nations, because you are proud of their humanity. And Sabaton use their music to tell their stories, so they are never forgotten. They show a respect and an understanding that is rare. Sabaton and Nightwish have some connections. They are the best storytellers, they don’t play music, they play feelings, they have the most amazing couple in metal and they have the most devoted fanbase. If there is a war in metal, the Nightwish Army and the Sabaton Army would be allies. Hannes (drummer) once said when Sabaton was traveling with Nightwish, he saw this woman with a whiskey in one hand and a cigar in the other hand, and knew immediately this woman he will marry. Her name is Floor Jansen !!! It is a deep rabbithole, but extremely rewarding, if you are open to those stories. 🤘😎🤘.
They do choose sides, though. They are very, very, very pro-allies, and get all their sources from others who are pro-allies. Then again, not being pro-allies is verboten in the modern west.
Sabaton and nightwish are lika a small family, Tommy (the guitarist) worked with Floor and did some arrangements for her during the covid. Tommy also has his own RUclips channel where he releases new covers almost every Friday, also worth listening to. Nice reaction and impressed you did know about the cross that still stands as a reminder 👍
As mentioned, thobbe Chris and Tommy have been playing together in a side band for years. Tommy just wanted to pursue his own ambitions but left Sabaton on a good note. They are still friends obviously.
Sadly it was a symptom of a young war by 1915 both sides had witnessed the worst they could do to each other rolling bombardments, mustard gass excetra the generals needn't have bother all desire to mingle with the enemy was lost. But you are right it's beautiful moments that should never be forgotten.
Another rabbit hole. Sabaton has so many beautiful, emotional and heroic songs. Steel commanders, 82nd all the way, Soldier of Heaven, Bismarck, Night Witches, The Last Stand, Ghost Division, En Livstid I Krig, etc. etc.
@@MrsRealistic For En Livstid I Krig, I would recommend the live performance at Gothenburg. Be sure subtitles are on for this one, since the song is in Swedish. The lyrics are always important with Sabaton. For 1916, I recommend the official music video. I would suggest leaving subtitles off on 1916; they show up a little too soon. For Bismarck, I definitely suggest watching the official music video before watching a different version or a cover.
Great reaction, I think you're gonna like Sabaton - tracks like 1916 (a Motorhead cover) Bismark and No Bullets Fly (animated version) are just a small selection of must do Sabaton videos 🤘
@@MrsRealistic you mentioned Carol of the Bells was your favorite Christmas carol. If you want to hear it like you've never heard it before, check out Liliac and their cover of it
It's so nice to see such a good reaction to this plus the fact that you took time to look into the history to which this is a tribute to. No Bullets Fly (animated version) Night Angels and 1916 you will find are excellent, but you must watch to the very end, in fact all Sabaton videos you musy watch to the end. Also, Sabaton have their own History channel here on RUclips where they go into great detail about each event etc for every song they do. Highly Recommended.
@@MrsRealistic: I don't think the OP meant "Night Angels," but rather "Night Witches." Night Witches is about an all-woman bomber regiment, the 588th Night Bombing Regiment, in the Soviet Air Forces during World War II. Due to the work the unit's Commissar, Yevdokita Reschkavich, put in after the war, the 588th has one of the most accurate wartime records of any nation, in any war, in human history. I would advise reacting to the YarnHub Animated Story Video for Night Witches, as they do an awesome job of telling the story.
Pro tip: when looking at Sabaton songs to react to, take a look at The Sabaton History Channel first. TSHC does an entire breakdown of the events, people and history of the story behind the song that Sabaton wrote to commemorate. I would suggest looking at Ghost in the Trenches if you would like to see a fellow Canadian being celebrated. A sniper in WWI, and the highest decorated First Nations soldier of The Great War. 1916 is a great song (written by Lemy and first performed by Motothead). It's a god aweful powerful song, but one that everyone should know about. Attack of the Dead Men is one of my personal favorite Sabaton History instalments. When it comes to what song you wish to do next, it's irrelevant, just pick one. They are all great. And Sabaton fans want to see you react to all of them, so just look for what interests you and GO FOR IT! We have faith in you. You won't go wrong.
@@MrsRealistic My suggestion would be to watch the music video first and then watch the Sabaton History Channel afterwards, since the history videos sometimes have spoilers. Great reaction. Thanks for reacting to Christmas Truce.
@@MrsRealistic Very good reaction to my favorite band!😊🙏 Sabaton is the best band in the world if you ask me! I got an idea of what you should do if you feel like it! And that is to react to all Sabaton's songs in all the albums they have! What I mean is to go all in with Sabaton even if it will take time as you react to other music too! But it doesn't matter if it will take time if you decide to do it! And the songs you've already reacted to just skip if you feel like it! However, the English version of a song can differ from the Swedish version! So sometimes it can be interesting to hear both versions! Those with Swedish vocals come with subtitles I am sure you would have loved the Journey to react too every Sabaton song and not regretted it!❤😉 I want to recommend more songs to you too!😎 If there are some that you have already reacted to, you can ignore them!😊 Hellfighters The first soldier The valley of death Versailles Dreadnought Soldier of heaven Stormtroopers Steel commanders Kingdom come Metal trilogy Defense of Moscow The royal guard Fields of verdun A ghost in the trenches Great war official video 😉 Devil dogs 82nd all the way Seven pillars of wisdom All guns blazing😉 The last battle Shiroyama 7734 Man of war Hearts of iron Harley from hell Killing ground The Carolean's Prayer Long live the king Metal ripper White death Coat of arms The final solution The price of a mile Firestorm Cliffs of Gallipoli Endless nights Metal Crüe Nightchild Back in control In the name of god Metal machine Purple heart Wolf pack Panzer battalion. Warm and kind greetings from a big Sabaton fan in northern Sweden (Västerbotten) 🇸🇪🇸🇪
it's one of the most beautiful song I ever heard too, release on 29th October 2021 when COVID-19 already come down , This song to be honest I really can't listen during in the public or travel specially when Floor voice came on end credit
Sabaton mantra is, Lest We Forget. They are not political they sing about the heroics, sacrifices, of military throughout history. They have no bad songs in my very very old metal rock head opinion. Good luck on your journey in exploring this band their catalogue is as deep as Nightwish. I want to add thank you for not cutting off Floor’s aura as the ending credits rolled. Most reactors immediately cut off the video as soon as they see the credits. God Bless Stay Safe & Rock On!🙏🤘🤘🤘
My favourite Christmas video, this usually makes me cry twice (when Hannes steps out of the trench and when Pär is carving on the cross), today being no exception. Thank you for listening all the way - it's always worth doing that with Sabaton, sometimes there are surprises but even if not I feel credits should be honoured. Their songs are usually about the best of humanity during war - the bravery, compassion, ingenuity - or the tragedy of its loss. As someone else said, they are anti-war but pro-soldier. "Lest we forget" could be their motto. This video hit me hard when it first came out, because I had recently learned that my country (the UK) had sent soldiers to fight and die abroad every single year since 1914. I doubt that's changed in the last few years, either. It's the song that turned me into a Sabaton fan, and I am fortunate enough to have seen them live in Leeds, so experienced an arena singing along to the chorus where the instruments drop out while fake snow fell all around. Go see them if you get the opportunity, it's quite the show! Next steps would include _1916_ (music video) and _No_ _Bullets_ _Fly_ (animated STORY video) - two more songs that make me cry. Enjoy yet another rabbithole...
Hi Realistic! i came back to this after the Hamaas TRuce that just happened. it wasnt on christmas but they did the same thing, had a ceasefire moment between US and them. moving stuff
So, you dive deeper into the Doings of the Van Dahl Family( Floor and Hannes:D). I sometimes really envy the recapping Persons, having this first Time Exp on the Artist we already know for so long. And agreed. War is good for absolutely nothing. Done my Time in our Military. WastedYear(s). STay Healthy! Metalhead, Frankonia, Bavaria, Germany.
The only thing I can add is this: On another reaction, I once read something that shocked me. It was from a gentleman in Europe who said that if not for the Christmas Truce, he would not exist. This was because during the 1914 Truce, his grandfathers met each other on the field that day. After the war, the two men became friends, and later, became related, as their families married into each other. That being said, it should be noted that after the Truce in 1914, one German commander ended up moving his men to another section of the front line, as his men refused to fire on the men they had made friends with the day before.
A good deal of time was spent recovering the fallen from no-man's land, some had been there for a long time. Fun fact: All generals spent the whole war 20 miles behind the front, and Haig never even visited the front lines.(Haig was allied supreme commander)
Petain did. He'd come to the front to check personally on the situation, eat with the soldiers and listen to their experiences of the frontline. That's what made him so popular with the regular soldiers : he wasn't a distant figure you only spot from afar, safe behind the lines.
great reaction, more Sabaton please. Sabaton is a Swedish band with a loooong list of history based music. Sabaton also has an award winning history channel that gives background to over 120 if their songs (not music award, academic, aimed at education of the public) . Sabaton videos are often have dedications and/or messages at the end, perhaps not always but... watching to the very end is frequently well worth it. Animated STORY videos (short Animated history lessons with music videos in them) No bullets fly, enemy showing mercy to injured aircrew in a nearly wrecked aircraft barely still flying, even escorting them to safety. Night witches, Young (17-28) female bomber pilots in ww2 fighting the Nazi despite the discrimination they faced and being given obsolete equipment, aircraft ... Lady of the dark, female fighting alongside men during ww1 and being highly respected and even more decorated. Red baron, the famous fighter pilot of ww1 first soldier, unlikely French hero in ww1. Epic ORIGINAL videos. Bismark, about the sinking of the ship you just saw Christmas truce, about the spontaneous truce in some parts of the western front during Christmas 1914 40:1, about polish soldiers, badly outnumbered (just under 750 in all) facing 42 000 germans, they where BADLY outgunned desperately defending against the German invasion 1939 (with odds actually close to 55:1 they held for 3 DAYS when ammunition and supplies ran out. Uprising, the Warsaw Uprising against the nazi germans during 1944. To hell and back, they tell the story of Audie Murphy (highly decorated) and his struggle AFTER the war, so about PTSD and drug addiction that returning soldiers can face. Fields of verdun, the 300+ day long battle fought there. Price of a mile, about the battle of Passchendaele Screaming Eagles, about the battle of the bulge Live performances 40:1 from poland Uprising from poland En livstid I krig live from Göteborg Sweden (in Swedish but there are subtitles) , very heavy again, about thoughts of a young man going to war. Two covers that are good Defence of Moscow, self explained 1916 about the devastating battle of the somme in ww1, casualties topped 1 milion if you count both sides, all for 6 miles of ground, these are just some, there are plenty more.
If you like sabaton I’d recommend checking out “The attack of the dead men”, “No Bullets fly”, “Bismarck”, “Night witches” and watching the sabaton history on the history behind the songs before you listen so you get the lyrics more, and that impact.
That's why Christians must stop arguing and stay united, let everyone stay in their denomination, but we must be united, because Satan already made so many enemies of Christ, and our fight must be against those who hate us and spread lies. ✝️🇭🇷
If you want an awesome live song with Sabaton you should react to en livstid i krig (a lifetime of war) live Scandinavium Gothenburg. The album Carolus rex they had released during that time is about a part of Swedish history called the era of great power (stormaktstiden in Swedish) from when Sweden was a much bigger nation with ambitions of expanding. The album was released with both an Swedish and English version, the difference being that the Swedish one tells the story from our/a Swedish soldiers view while the English is more from an outsiders view of the war. It is the Swedish version they played at that show so be sure the subtitles are on, I was at that show and all I can say is that you will not regret it.
I served British Army for over 25 years. Then got a job as an Educational Officer at a Military Museum. We had a trench built to give visitors a taste of the conditions of life these hero's had to put up with. We have school kids visit and I took part in teaching them the history. Dressed in the uniform of a "Tommy" as part of their experience. Show them the weapons that wefre used. Being a service member. Brought some our humour into play.
Yes, the kids love it when I tell their teachers off. Some unknown history is of the ages of the "kids" who fought the youngest was 14 years old. His story is sad, during the conflict he decided that he had enough and ran away, But was caught and court marshalled for desertion. Was convicted and was shot at dawn for this crime. Happy to say evetually his verdict was repelled and his name was cleared. But, he was shot after the court marshall.
Hmm. What to say. First, I love that you love Floor! Yeah. Another classic. Carol of the Bells is my favorite too. It’s actually from a Romanian (I think) song called Shchedryk about a spring morning when a little bird came to wake the shepherd and say that two lambs had been born and that he was so lucky to have a beautiful wife and more fortune from the lamb’s wool. 😊
Such a great reaction to a great and important song! I saw that someone recommended 1916, and i agree! I can also recommend Tobhell and back that is pretty much about PTSD. One of the USA most decorated soldiers from the WWII, Audie Murphy, struggled with that, writing poems about the horrors. Sabaton made an important song about him. I can also recommend to follow up the songs with their hostory channel were they deep dive, accompanied by the historian Indy Nidell, into the history they sing about. A true gem, for everyone!
Doesn´t matter how many times I watch this video, it always makes me shed a few tears! It´s such a good song about something beautiful yet so tragic. A true masterpiece imo!
I recommend the animated versions of No bullets fly, Night witches and Lady of the dark and then all the rest of their songs. I listen to Sabaton almost every day. Always look until the end of their videos. 🤓🇸🇪
This got played for a whole week when it released.. I'm from UK and a massive sabaton and nightwish fan (I love symphonic/operatic and power rock/metal).. Sabaton story telling through music and video is on a completely different level.. The back story of this is it was recorded for the album "the war to end all wars" a concept of an album that portrays the wars through the years, Christmas Truce was the fans top requested song but it took them years to get the whole thing correct, as they wanted to do the history justice and the music to reflect the mood of the events as they unfolded.. Truly stunning song and an awesome reaction PS a suggestions for a song (if I may).. As a symphonic/operatic metal fan it'd be awesome to see your reaction to a band called Nocturna Songs I'd suggest :- Daughters of the night (favourite of mine) New evil (equally as good) Keep up the awesome work 👌
This is without Doubt the best reaction I have seen so far. You have read about it, and you also know about ptsd 👏 Keep up the good work Now you have a new subscriber.
You can even hear Floor Jansen in the end when the credentials are running. Sabaton has a historic background to their songs that you can read about, Christmas truce, Bismarck, The last stand, no bullets fly (animated) and so on. They even have a history channel where they break down the history behind the songs.
I can’t tell how many times I have watched this video. I tear up every time. You said that war is for no reason. But that is not true. War actually has a purpose. And that purpose is to give wealthy people more wealth and power, and make poor people poorer and more helpless. We "ordinary" people are just negligible pawns in the hands of the world's powerful, totally dehumanized big players
If you want some statistics on the suicide and or ptsd numbers on veterans, check out "Five finger deat punch - Wrong side of heaven". Those numbers are old, just as the song, but still gives you an idea of how big the problem is.
Great reaction my friend sabaton are awesome - when you get time check out - no bullits fly awesome love and respect from the UK 👍👍😀😀🌟 amazing channel 👍
I dont know how extensive this was but i read that the ppl in charge on both sides hade to move troops around on the front becouse no one wanted to be the 1 that restarted the fighting and the ppl in charge was worried that they wouldent fight as hard as they could after having this short peace time.
When you realize that Christian are Sisters and Brothers, and kiling your Brother and Sister will bring doom about everyone- Great reaction video, great song, great song video
for one day in 1917 humanity won the war in the real Christmas truce it started with the Germans singing "Stille Nacht, heilige Nacht" the song we know as Silent NIght, then the allies started singing it too.
This is a masterpiece in every respect: musically, lyrically, visually. There have been quite a few songs written about this event (as should be!), but this is hands down, no contest the BEST! “No Bullets Fly” the animated story video would be a GREAT next foray. As you did with this one, watch all the way to the end!
Even though history says Germany lost, no one won in either wars. The loss of life in this war paled in comparison to the loss to the spanish flu that was a direct result. So many young wasted lives for nothing.
You should watch the British Sainsbury's Christmas add for the Christmas Truce its beautiful. Sadly the Christmas Truce was a symptom of a young war the generals didn't really need to do anything to stop the war itself would see to that by 1915 both sides used gas and other horrific tools all sympathy was gone.
That's how they get people to war with the "other side"... they dehumanize them... makes it easier to see them as the "bag guy"... even if as individuals they aren't.
@MrsRealistic I can only speak really from my view as a Brit and I'm sure there was other reasons Empire related but we did get involved because Germany invaded Belgium and while I know you definitely don't want to hear it in 1914 the Rape of Belgium did happen the Germans pretty much gave the allies all the ammunition they needed for their propaganda and the Germans did some really horrible things. So when you look at it from that lense you start to understand some of the reasons like with the Christmas some did but the vast majority of French troops didn't take part why would they celebrate with the very people trying to kill them and take their territory Britain did because we only came to the Aid of a neutral allie who we had promised protection if invaded. The war is incredibly complex more than people realise and yet it still arguably caused the greatest suffering we have ever experienced as a species.
@samuel10125 absolutely... there's nuance and it's so complicated, I can't pretend to know all the ins and outs. War is awful. Innocent people die and soldiers are maimed and left with emotional scars for life after trying to "defend" their country. I often wonder if it really solves anything.
You said you found conflicting info on things like how long the unofficial "truce" lasted. That's because there wasn't just one. It happened spontaneously all along the Western Front. Sometimes it was a German soldier first, sometimes an Allied one. Sometimes the first soldier started a chain reaction, sometimes he was shot and killed. Sometimes the Germans won the football game, sometimes the Allies did. Some lasted one say, some for longer.
@@MrsRealistic My grandfather saved many men, my father was Navigator on B-17 'S plural. He was shot out of the shy 3 times. The last time both his pilots were killed by flack. Because of the configuration of the navigators seat, he servived with a head wound. He had to land the plane in Aussie land, no wind screen, and blinded by his own blood. The tail gunner servived, the wing gunners servived, and the bombardier servived. He recieved the Purple Heart and The Silver Medal for his actions. He never spoke of this, he lost too many friends.
Brilliant reaction. Another beautiful song of Sabaton is ' No Bullets Fly' . An almost unknown story and all about humanity (and if you want a story about real female heroes (instead of all the infantile Wokewood crap today) listen to Nachthexen or Night Witches. Insanely brave girls and ladies and the bane of the nazis). I just wish they would start making inspirational movies about real heroes.
In 1914, both armies were made up of mostly career soldiers, who wanted to celebrate Christmas. The following years the armies were conscripts like you see in 1916

Thanks so much. This is a reminder that we are all humans and those who fought so bravely need to be remembered forever 🙌
Sadly, Tommy left Sabaton earlier this year, so now Sabaton is looking for another guitarist.
@@isaiahwelch8066Thobbe Englund is returning to Sabaton 🥳🎸
As mentioned, thobbe Chris and Tommy have been playing together in a side band for years. Tommy just wanted to pursue his own ambitions but left Sabaton on a good note.
They are still friends obviously.
One of the most beautiful christmas songs ever.
To find common humanity in the worst of situations. This story needs to be told again and again.
Amen to that 🙏
Sadly it was a symptom of a young war by 1915 both sides had witnessed the worst they could do to each other rolling bombardments, mustard gass excetra the generals needn't have bother all desire to mingle with the enemy was lost.
But you are right it's beautiful moments that should never be forgotten.
Another rabbit hole. Sabaton has so many beautiful, emotional and heroic songs. Steel commanders, 82nd all the way, Soldier of Heaven, Bismarck, Night Witches, The Last Stand, Ghost Division, En Livstid I Krig, etc. etc.
Thank you for the list! 😊
Thank you! 😁
@@MrsRealistic you mentioned Carol of the Bells was your favorite Christmas carol. If you want to hear it like you've never heard it before, check out Liliac and their cover of it
@@JStephens_73 Thank you for the heads up! 🙏
@@JStephens_73 and if she wants something a bit different, there's also Voctave's acapella "Carol of the Bells of Notre Dame"...

Asa og Vana, my Brother.
And one of the valkyies named Floor . Ok, she is the Queen
Wonderful info! Thank you! 😁
@@MrsRealistic: I don't think the OP meant "Night Angels," but rather "Night Witches."
Night Witches is about an all-woman bomber regiment, the 588th Night Bombing Regiment, in the Soviet Air Forces during World War II.
🤟@@MrsRealistic
I concur! 🤘🔥🤘@@isaiahwelch8066

Excellent spotted - Floor's soprano at the end
it's one of the most beautiful song I ever heard too, release on 29th October 2021 when COVID-19 already come down , This song to be honest I really can't listen during in the public or travel specially when Floor voice came on end credit
It's truly beautiful and powerful!

Some go to war and never come home;
some come home and never leave the war.
So sad, but true!
As an Iraq and Afghanistan war vet, this brought tears to my eyes when I first saw it.
Thank you for your service sir, and god bless you!
God Bless Stay Safe & Rock On!🙏🤘🤘🤘
I've been told that bands like VoicePlay and Sabaton should be played past the credits. I'm glad I did! 😊
Thanks so much! You're lucky to have seen them live! I bet it was amazing!
Great reaction. And you do it with outro from Floor. Awesome Masterpiece from Sabaton.
Thanks! Yes it was just beautiful!
Amazing reaction...this song is beautiful...the voice Floor is sublime is supreme soprano and metal Queen❤

It was Floors husband Hannes who was the main character and the first guy over the edge, the blond guy.
So, you dive deeper into the Doings of the Van Dahl Family( Floor and Hannes:D). I sometimes really envy the recapping Persons, having this first Time Exp on the Artist we already know for so long.

Thanks for joining me!
There is cross-pollination between Nightwish and Sabaton. Keep going with both. Heartfelt reaction.
Thank you! Will do! I heard about Sabaton because of Nightwish 🙌
The only thing I can add is this:
On another reaction, I once read something that shocked me.
Now that's an amazing story!!
This is a perfect example of warriors understanding each other, but the nations we fight for not coming to agreement, which is why we fight
In war no glory awaits, only death.
Hannes.. drummer of Sabaton.. is married to Floor Jansen of Nightwish.. and they both live together in Sweden 🤘🤘🤘
Floor speaks perfect swedish too 🤘🙏
yep, the biggest war since WWII in Europa is happening now in Ukraine, the videos from there are pretty much like this
War is horrible. And usually only serves the elite. 😪
@@MrsRealistic now this war is about the existence of Ukraine, and Ukrainians, a war of genocide.
A good deal of time was spent recovering the fallen from no-man's land, some
had been there for a long time.
Fun fact: All generals spent the whole war 20 miles behind the front, and Haig never
even visited the front lines.(Haig was allied supreme commander)
Of course not, they left that for the "expandables" 😞
Petain did.
He'd come to the front to check personally on the situation, eat with the soldiers and listen to their experiences of the frontline.
That's what made him so popular with the regular soldiers : he wasn't a distant figure you only spot from afar, safe behind the lines.
great reaction, more Sabaton please.

Amazing, thank you! 😊
I think that it's brilliant you are able to teach the younger generations the harsh realities. Bravo sir!
Thanks for sharing!! I love learning the background info!
Thanks so much! Yes, I've gotten so many suggestions that 1916 should be next! 😁👍
Doesn´t matter how many times I watch this video, it always makes me shed a few tears!
It´s such a good song about something beautiful yet so tragic.

Everybody GANGSTA... until Joakim starts playing Carol of the Bells! 🔔🔔🔔
All of Sabatons songs are history lessons.
Truly stunning song and an awesome reaction
PS a suggestions for a song (if I may).. As a symphonic/operatic metal fan it'd be awesome to see your reaction to a band called Nocturna

If you want to shed some tears, then watch the animated version of "No bullets fly" about the Brown-Stigler incident in 1943. Keep tissues in reach.
Thanks for the suggestion! 😁

You're 100% right. 😔
If you want some statistics on the suicide and or ptsd numbers on veterans, check out "Five finger deat punch - Wrong side of heaven". Those numbers are old, just as the song, but still gives you an idea of how big the problem is.

I dont know how extensive this was but i read that the ppl in charge on both sides hade to move troops around on the front becouse no one wanted to be the 1 that restarted the fighting and the ppl in charge was worried that they wouldent fight as hard as they could after having this short peace time.
I read the same thing. The higher ups needed them to keep fighting and the soldiers didn't want to fight the men who had just become friends. :(

You are well informed!
I try! 😊
fun fact: the band talked about the outro singer and Hannes said: I have their a choice in my family -so Floor came up
It was the only choice! 😉😁
That was Hannes, the first man out of the trenches.
It is Carol of the bells but backwards, or scaled upside down :)
