These are the best tutorials I've seen so far for the M32. Thanks Erik.

I appear to be late to the party but… is there any way to send the talkback mic down an ultranet or AES50 routing?
Would be great to speak to my band through this if possible.

Yes. If you set up your stage boxes through AES50 to deliver monitor signal for the band, then when you select those busses in the Talkback A or B tabs, the talkback will be sent there.

Although the option of an internal talkback mic is described & shown in both the Midas M32 and M32R manuals, it does not seem to exist anymore if it ever actually did; not shown on-screen page in firmware 3.08 or 3.09 anyway. The option does show in the Mac M32 Edit software app, but I am fairly certain there is no internal talkback mic in those Midas models; i have both. The X32 also showed to have a compressor available on the talkback mic page, which is a great idea. Regarding 48v phantom power, it is automatically there and always on for a condenser talkback mic, so don’t use a ribbon mic there!

I found the gain on the talkback too low. Ended up using a regular channel. Would be nice to be able to internal route in a preamp channel to talkback

@@MidasOfficial This is why the M32 is still selling a decade later. I hope other companies take note of what happens when you support your product like you guys have. Thanks Midas!!

So the reason to have a Talkback A and B is to just have 2 pre-determined send options?

Hi Tom, they're not pre-determined. Each Talkback can be routed to any MixBus, Main LR & Mono/Center and can be set to 'Latch' or 'Non-Latching'. Hope this helps!
