I’ve long since given up any pretense or attempts at justification as to why I “need” knives. I know full well that 98% of my interaction with a bladed object is going to be spent on the couch in front of the TV just playing with it and admiring it’s design and construction and I’m totally at peace with that.

We need more 'tactical suicide prevention' videos, for real.
I'm of the camp that definitely buys the odd combat knife/dagger/sword/whatnot and eternally vacillating between buyer's remorse and a childlike 'NEATO!' as I hold said implement.
Also LOL at Lynn overcommitting to his watermelon cuts... in a REAL melon fight, that's a surefire way to get seeds in your eye, man!

We all like to poke fun at other people for their "weird" hobbies, but truth is deep down we are all just kids pretending to be more mature than we actually are. I think it's healthy and necessary to "unleash" some of our more childish and primal desires in a non-harmful way. Thank you for making this video.

While under 200 comments, I just wanted to tell you there are some reasons to keep tools. I'm a knife guy and have spent way more than necessary on way too many knives. I have 7 Folders in rotation and as most of you will my 2 go tos. I have bigger blades I almost never use since I live in a metropolitan area, but like to take them camping 2/3 times a year.
I also had a trail boss axe I lent to a non-knife or Weapon friend for a film production and he forgot to give it back for some time.
It was his luck, cause when his building was on fire and his door didn't open, he used the axe to break free and it became his that day. All I'm saying is, it's fine if you collect things while still being reasonable and paying the bills. But even if youre Anti-Lynn at least have one thing to crack a door open stashed in your flat, you'll never know!

You should be able to make a living from your knife reviews ; but alas no justice in this world. Your dedication to edge holding ability of different steels is truly inspired yet your dry humor is on point. I have laughed & laughed at many of your vids including this one.
