As far as Mr Tonex ( B Slade) is concerned,do you know the reason why he changed his " stage name?" Maybe you should look it up. If you remember his song," Lord make me over" listen CAREFULLY to the lyrics,he was struggling in homosexuality then. The question becomes," When are we going to come ALONGSIDE our brother and help to RESTORE him. Remember Galatians 6:1-4? I know repentance is a word that's," out of style" these days,but we ALL need to...... just a different perspective.

The biggest catalyst that birthed LGBTQIA was the hatred, vitriol, overall lack of compassion for them yet from the pulpit to the Ushers all the other sin that is prevalent in church (especially stealing, lying, gossiping, fornication, adultery etc...)is seen as better . The church created victims. Their parents through them out in the streets to the wolves. God will judge those that no better harshly. How can we continue in Sin that Grace may abound. God forbid. This includes all of us. Remove the speck out of your own eye. All the attention brought to their struggle has demonized them. They want to come back ti the church but the church is full of devils. This is the same reason why millennials are fleeing the church at an alarming rate.

The last time I saw B. Slade perform was in California at the Wallis. He was in a performance called For the record : martin Scorsese. To see him sing house of the rising sun live and in living color was amazing. His voice is otherworldly. I was fortunate enough to meet him and take a quick photo after the show.

I know they’re made their mistakes but it shouldn’t be controversial to tell the truth to God’s people. You are who you are until God makes you something else.

I pray that they continue to put the Lord first in their lives so that He may prosper their souls. They are both dearly loved. I know that He has so much more kingdom work for them to complete. Yes everyone makes mistakes but when Ministering for God you need to fully come out of those mistakes (repentance) don’t go back to them, clean yourself up, clean your life up. Get filled with his Spirit, then you have a testimony not only did God bring you through but he’s a keeping God and a restoring God as well. God ain’t a weak God and people making him seem like he can’t keep them, he’ll keep you and change you if you’ll let him. As a minister ( doesn’t matter what your doing for God we all got something he called us to do) your goal is to work for God, let him change your life completely so you can help somebody else. You can’t help anyone out of there mess until you come out of yours first.

What is controversial about struggling/struggles? Each of us have them. The only difference is theirs are publicly displayed an we are privileged to have ours shielded. I salute and celebrate them because inspite of and in the midst of their struggles, they are still giving God the praise. It is imperative that we remember to "judge not others. For we will also face that same judgment " God bless each of you. We are better people when we focus on leaving the world in a better place than we found it.
