  • Jacqueline Twohig and her husband Doug Frieders thought the floodwater from Hurricane Helene would come close to, but not into, their Asheville, North Carolina apartment. But she tells “NewsNation Prime” that, when the water rose nearly 20 feet, they knew it was time to get out. Only days later they did learn that the entire apartment building collapsed, and that two of their neighbors did not survive.
